"Electrifying tribute" eh... still, should be interesting. At the announcement of the Porsche partnership a couple years ago, I'd heard some rumors about it going both ways - Porsche edition watches, but also TAG-branded accessories for the cars. Looks like the first one's gonna be a splashy one

The car is just a 718 GT4RS with some show-car bits to make it look a bit more like one of the Panamericana-winning cars. No info on whether the TAG stopwatches are gonna be anything more than a showpiece though

Here it is 👍

Fantastic. I've always loved dash timers on classic race cars, and the 718 is one of my favourite cars..so this is a winner for me.

I was very tempted with a 718 when I was buying my 911, I'm still fairly sure a cayman will be in my garage at some point.

I wonder how you control the rest of the cars UI now the main display is removed…. The main digital dash dial is somewhat limited compared to what the now missing screen does…. Cool though.

Maybe most of the AV is missing on the RS? Looks like it has heater controls below the timer

Whilst the TAG Heuer module itself looks cool, does this remind anyone else of when owners used to add gauges to their dash in the ‘80’s? They never looked like they formed part of the original design.

I agree, very cool but doesn't suit modern vehicles.

The car was built specifically to compete in this year's Carrera Panamericana. So it doesn't need the PCM Screen. Dempsey will be driving during 2 stages.

A few more pics. I like how TAG Heuer was embossed into the arm rest.
