Really like the CBN2A1M.FC6526 Carrera X Porsche, but won’t buy as font own a Porsche, sadly.

Anyway, it crossed my mind how the strap would look on my Orange Aquaracer. Cannot find the lug width for that Carrera though, or have any idea on whether this could fit. The other question being the black clasp on a steel watch.

Any ideas everyone?

Opinions on how it would look also up for consideration…

 

If it fits, it might look okay...

 

Carrera Sport, lug width 22mm
Aquaracer Professional 300, lug width 21mm
All TAG and Heuer branded deployants (black, polished or brushed) 18mm (i.e. interchangeable)

What does this mean? Clearly there are 19mm Heuer clasp straps

 

Pretty sure those are 21,5mm, which is rather annoying

 

I had read 21,5mm too, but wasn’t 100% on the Carrera being 22mm, so thank you @Nalin.

Not sure how it would look though. I would want it to look epic if going to the hassle of sourcing one though. Currently unsure how good it would look.

 

Just use Microsoft Paint to put the strap on the watch

How about the strap from the Orange F1?

 

Pretty sure you can get the Carrera strap to fit no problem. I use 22mm straps on my 21.5 F1 all the time. Some 22mm straps fit perfectly, others only require a little bit of a squeeze to get them on.

The Carrera strap matches pretty well. But if it were me, I'd got with the black rubber strap, as it's a diver. @abrod520 tried the 844 strap on the Orange and I thought it looked good. The OEM Aquaracer rubber in black looks good too.

 

The F1 straps should be an exact fit.

There's also the orange rubber strap if one wants more color.

I wouldn’t even consider the F1 as it is meant to be uncomfortable.

 

I'd just go black Tropic. Though I like mine on the gray tropic as is

 

Interesting about the F1 sizing.

Did see the 844 strap pics from above. Looks great but think I would prefer without the cut outs for me.

I recently nearly ordered the OEM black rubber, after seeing Jim’s, but wasn’t sure how it would look with the orange. Having done the above, it is growing in me now.
