The profile is identical to the Fragment Carrera or silver 160th, so the case is the same used in Heuer02 last glassbox Carreras

Seems like this would be the most sensible option. Delete the running seconds or 12 hour counter and call it a day.

C17 was a joke...

Yup, should have picked up on that!

Or maybe delete both!😀

I’m intrigued by their release time. Anything with a broad appeal, from an American source, doesn’t seem to be really well timed to “first thing in the morning” on the east coast. Especially when their previous “drops” have been in the middle of Heuer auctions and Wednesday late mornings... 😁

I am curious to see Hodinkee’s take on the watch. I have liked most of their designs from inexpensive Timex to Blancpain. I hate the hype and the fear of missing out that things have come to. They will have this release and it will be great I’m sure, Revolution will have one next and it will be good too. The stress of trying to purchase by waking up in the middle of the night where a typo in haste has you loose out. Buying luxury goods shouldn’t be so stressful.

I firmly believe the Carrera 39mm Calibre11 Collectors Edition is way better 🥰 (will be) 😉

Hmm. The more Glassbox Carreras that come out, the less special they are. Similar to the number of variants that we saw of the Jack Heuer 80th Carrera..love that watch, but felt they rolled the dice too many times

The JH80 Carrera and JH81 variants are really nice sir DC @Calibre11 but I felt they pretty look similar in many ways losing the allure and appeal 😕 Most of the time, when I see pix of these, I try to confirm if it is a JH80 or not 😉 I still believe the JH80 is the BEST LE Carrera rightfully designed by the legendary JH himself. 👍

With the right design and package, the 39mm Carrera should still be a blast 🥰 Still hoping we can have another Collector’s Edition from Calibre11. Carrera or Monaco this time after the Autavia Siffert 😉

Are you referring to the possibility of Revolution releasing another 39mm glassbox Carrera? Please tell me more?

I don’t have any inside info, it just seems that this is the way things happen nowadays. Look at the Zenith re-editions of the A384, there have been so many limited editions - one could be close to what you liked and a couple months later they release “the one” you really wish they did. It’s hard to keep track of all the “special editions”. I am happy for all the new choices, it’s just hard to know when to wait

Agreed. They should have stuck with the JH80 and the two chonometers and not bothered with the others. That said, wasn't at least one of the others (CV211A from memory) a market specific (UK?) model?

I used to own CV5110- really loved that dial.

Not many were in stores- all bar the original Jack Heuer were either Boutique-specials or only made for certain countries

If you dont own the silver that is the one to get. It will always be better than anything else.

Stunning! I remember spending hours trawling ebay for one of those after I first found this forum and discovered the jh80, really annoyed at myself for not buying the one bicester had a couple of years ago. One day...

IMO the 39mm should not be limited to LE models only. I think the problem arises when TAG pumps out LE versions of every model almost immediately after releasing it.
