Modern B buckles are about that, $50 US or so. Should be available at ADs or TAG boutiques.

Good to know. The ones I saw on eBay are priced higher, around $75-$100. I'm still waiting on my AD to get back to me on the buckle. @imagwai did very well! Scored about $160-$200 worth in getting the free strap & buckle from TH.

Well, I just got lucky again too! My local AD was taking too long, so I sent an inquiry to my TH Boutique contact. She just ordered the buckle for me as a gift. So FC1042 should be the correct part number for the 16mm B buckle, but I still don't know the exact retail price.

The buckles aren't very expensive from TAG (def not like a deployant for instance), but in the open market they can cost a bit more.

Even the deployants aren't that expensive from TAG either. The one I bought recently for the 160th was about 拢112 from memory. Online prices on eBay and the like always seem to be higher, I guess because availability is low and some people can't be bothered to deal with the boutique or an AD.

Sent my WAY208C back under warranty for the crown issue and it's come back two weeks later. Thought I would take a photo and post it here before I send it back and see if they can fix it this time... 馃檮

When I unscrew the crown and change the date, it jumps to the left and locks up, like it won't stay in the 'date' position. At least it's not jumping straight to the date from unscrewing now, so that's progress of sorts...

Well if you get sick of trying to have TAG fix their crappy movement and want to sell it to me cheap... 馃槈

Just to update this thread, and hopefully close this long-running saga now... my watch appears to be losing about 4 seconds per day whilst on the wrist, and gaining 1 or 2 seconds per day whilst sitting in the box. So with wearing it a couple of times, it's -1sec after 3 days. I guess that's fine then, and certainly within tolerance.

Thanks again for this Michael, I have now ordered one for myself. Swedish price is 600 SEK, about 拢50 馃憤

Glad it has reached a happy conclusion, with that bonus strap to go with it! Remind me again, what kind of movement is in the watch? Is it a manual wind?

Cool! Are you going to order a GLC strap to go with it too? I think it would look great on your Ice King. (I'm particularly fond a brown rally strap pairing with the Silver.)

Thinking about it! Will start by pairing the buckle with my vintage red geckota strap. The one I hated in the beginning but now loooove on the Ice King 馃榾

I still also want to get a sharkskin strap. So freaking cool whenever Rob posts photos showing that he is rocking skin from a shark like a boss. I want to be as cool as Rob. Or at least try.

Now that I have seen that the blue shark skin strap isn't as badly made as the green one I say go for it.

Thanks. Yes, it's a manual wind Lemania 1873. I think this is an often underappreciated aspect of this watch. It's basically the same movement you'll find in some Omega Speedmasters, where it is called the Omega 861.

That's my favourite too. Been on my wishlist for a while, just never got round to ordering.
So now I have to decide if I want to be as cool as Charlie or as cool as Rob. Blue GLC or red shark... blue GLC... or red shark

I have that blue one on the 1153. Very nice strap, not as light blue as you鈥檇 expect from the website pictures though.
