Out of interest, and only if you are prepared to share, what have you spent all up on modules and lugs, straps, etc?

Done! I checked the TH Catalog and price list, and my paypal and bank reports, so I was able to exactly calculate the retail price of my Modular collection (19135โ‚ฌ) ๐Ÿคช, and how much I really spent on it (because there are two items that I bought by ebay in excellent but used condition, and there are discounts from my AD), since May 2018: 12959โ‚ฌ ๐Ÿ˜—

Nearly half of the budget (6378โ‚ฌ) went to the extra accessories: lugs, buckles, straps and bracelets, while the four Modular watches (two Connected and two mechanical, including the rose gold lugs) cost me 6581โ‚ฌ... which is not expensive if we consider that total price for just two similar conventional Carrera Calibre 16 and Calibre 5 watches (CV2A81.FC6237 and WAR201A.BA0723) is 7200โ‚ฌ

As I was increasing the collection in small stages during two years, I really wasn't aware of the total amount that I was investing in the accessories ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿ˜

Thanks @Mr_Orange for asking me to do this exercise, because it was fun! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Amazing! Every time I see your collection @Albert-AMG and enthusiasm it puts a smile on my face ๐Ÿ˜€

A lot of bang for the buck to get all that for only 13000 Euro ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks Jim!! ๐Ÿ˜€

It has been a lot of fun gathering this Modular collection during two years, especially getting the six straps that are Special, Limited, or exclusive Editions, and that cannot be purchased in the store separately. With luck and patience I found them... although I had to buy a complete set of the Kingsman Special Edition to have its orange alcantara strap! ๐Ÿ˜

Also my AD collaborated with the discounts, and an ebay seller who got me the bracelets and some buckles, brand new and almost half price. The collection would not be so complete if I had had to buy everything only with the discount of my AD! I didnโ€™t think I had spent 13000 Euro, but I am reassured to see the retail price! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘

Considering all the options you have I would say that's actually rather cheap!๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ˜€ Yes, if we consider that there are thousands of possible combinations, then each different watch/combo is well priced ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ‘

Interesting. You got some cracking discounts on certain items.

Putting EUR13k into my local currency is about $21k. So as a comparison, for the same money, I bought my Monaco ACM Edition, Carrera 300SLR, Carrera Calibre 36 Racing, Carrera Calibre 7 TT and a few straps and bracelets. Two of those were second hand and two new and all the straps and bracelets were new.

You obviously have more variety and combinations available to you but it's interesting to see what one can buy in the Connected and real watch worlds.

Could you make the lume on the 385.513 a bit lighter? It looks a bit too yellow...

Thanks! ๐Ÿ‘ But this is because of the light and the picture. Sometimes is difficult to get the real colours from the AMOLED screen in the pictures, depending on which kind of ambient light you have for the picture.

This is the true colour of the lume and dial, and the red colour looks slightly brighter on the watch:

Ah, yes looking at the picture again I see what you mean - great design though, I've always loved that particular F1.

Very nice! I am becoming more and more fascinated by the PVDs...Good contrast with the hands here.

What does the tyre belong to?

I guess I spend too much time in this forum but earlier today I was actually thinking about that Albert is not wearing his Monza so much ๐Ÿ˜

Cool photos by the way! Do you have a F1 tyre in the livingroom? ๐Ÿ˜

In a Historic Formula 1 race on my home circuit (Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya), a team left the used tyres of its Formula 1 car abandoned in the paddock. This is the right rear ๐Ÿ˜‰
