Hi I wondered if anyone knew what type of battery was fitted to the Microtimer and if it is feasible to change it yourself.

Good question. I sent mine to TAG last time, it cost £85. I was thinking about doing it myself next time since now all the gaskets have been changed. I would assume it would be something like a CR2032 but I'm yet to brave those tiny screws...
