Golf App on Standard TAG Heuer Connected

Hi All,

I have the standard Tag Heuer Connected watch, 3 years or so old.

I installed the Tag Heuer Golf App, it took some time to get used to, but I getting there. I think the thing we are missing is that all YouTube videos and TH documents are for the Golf Edition. My app seems to be slightly different, maybe due to watch age.

Anyway, what I cannot find is:

1. Do you press the top right button before AND after every shot? So you walk to the ball or tee, press it, take your shot, press it again, walk to the ball, press it again, take the shot, press it again? This is the only way I can seem to get the shots to be accurate. But on the docs it suggests to only press it once.

2. Also on the online guides, it says to press the bottom right button to record a putt. But on my watch, this seems to be nothing.

3. At the top right there seems to be a suggestion of a stop and play symbol, but I cannot seem to figure out what tis does.

4 .As with the online reviews, the battery life on a round is horrendous.Better if using GPS from the phone. Is there any fix?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Have only had my golf edition 3 -4 weeks but have not had a problem with battery life. Only the golf app is running whilst playing. Today I had 90% at the start of the round and in the 19th hole it was on 51%. GPS was on phone, very few notifications received and shot tracking on manual. I take my shot and immediately check the club used and then press the button, then press it again when I get to the ball. Only way I have found to record putts is to press the button twice after each putt. Hope this helps.

it’s supposed to record shot on impact, and then you press button when you get to the ball
