This is awesome, I rang customer service back today (U.K.) and after I told them that it's been released to other people around the world.

I was informed, that's its slowly being rolled out and it should be on everyone's Connected Watch by the 3rd April.

Morning all,

I'm in the UK and overnight mine has downloaded overnight and installed this morning.

I went into setting checked for updates and the watch instructed me an update was ready to be applied, using iOS.

Now time to give iOS a full test as tempted to swap for an Andriod OS device.

Hi All, Im the UK and received my update yesterday morning and installed after several attempts but finally got there ... 😀, Does anyone know when the iOS connected app will be available .. I think that will make a big difference in how the watch will function and behave on iOS. Thanks

Hi all

I received the update this morning and I cancelled the "what's new tutorial" as I was excited to check Android Wear 2.0 by myself but I can't find the tutorial inside the watch browser.
Can you help me on this ?
I want to be sure I'm not missing any cool feature that comes with this update
Thanks

I am still on the battery calibration phase after the 2.0 update on my original Connected. The big drop on the 1st day was on installation and downloading of all the apps. But overall the battery consumption appears to be pretty good.

I've been searching and cannot find it.

The only one I was able to find was the one for gestures, go to Settings > Gestures > Launch Tutorial

I noticed my "OK Google" voice detection is disabled by default after the 2.0 update. What are you guys seeing?

Yeah, I saw that too but didn't find about the new features of ANdroid Wear 2.0

Thanks. I wonder how much battery this will consume once it's enabled. I decided to leave it off for now. On the other hand, I believe I had to enable it on my Modular 45mm and it's never very responsive; I've found that it works great if the Google Assistant was recently run, however not so good, if the Assistant hasn't been used recently.

As for me, voice recognition is not 100% responsive when using it to answer a text message for example, and also (but it's less often) to launch an app (typically the timer for cooking purpose).

With the update I do have again double notifications related to Google Calendar notification. Do you know how to disable the notification for the agenda application of the watch ? I prefer those from the phone app

There must be some setting on the App itself, or the phone, or in the Android Wear app on the phone. Look into those. Based on your comment, it sounds like at some point in the past you had and resolved this problem, no?

Yes, you're going to need to do some digging. Mine thankfully doesn't show any duplicate notifications.
However, my OUTLOOK app does not seem to show any emails on either of the watches.

Just did it and didn't find on the Android Wear app nor on the watch settings.
I think with the previous version of the OS, I manage to "hide" the notification of the calendar app by sliding to the right, till I had a few options. Now I have no options with this app.

My bugs list / strange behaviour :
- it's now impossible (or I didn't find how to do that) to accept an incoming call : the only option is to refuse it (red button or sliding to the left)
- where is hidden the "cinema mode" to hide the screen when needed ? --> solved (slide down/brightness)
- the "OK Google" command doesn't work for me (and yes it's active)
- I can't disable notifications for the Calendar App within the watch OS

- Since the watch doesn't have a built-in speaker, I suppose they decided to remove the option and only allow you to "refuse the incoming call".
- The "Theater mode" (blackout screen) is now only visible after going to the brightness setting. I miss the double click on the crown; that was a great shortcut. The pulldown menu on the new Connected Modular is a bit different.
- For the "OK Google" try it after having run the Google Assistant by long pressing the physical crown button. That typically works for me. Since it's so inconsistent I may just disable that option all together on both of my watches in favor of simply using the crown button to invoke it.

I have the same interpretation but I used to accept incoming call with my watch so I'll miss it

Agree on that

Well, thanks for the tip but it doesn't work for me :-/
I tried to send a text with the "OK Google" vocal command (long press on the crown) but when I select the phone number it leads to an error message : "sorry I can't do the operation"

Other question Hubert : do you use Whatsapp with the Connected ?
Since a few days (do previous to Wear 2.0) I can't answer to a whatsapp message through the watch (with preset text, vocal or drawing smiley).
The watch "understands" the command and displays a tick symbol but the message is not actually sent.

Do you have the same issue ?

I don't use Whatsapp. It's probably in need of an update to accept the command from the Google Assistant in AW2.0. Here's a related post:

Well it's not only the vocal that doesn't work anymore, it's the same with preset text messages (Yes, No, OK, I can;t talk right now) ...
An the issue appeared before AW 2.0 ...
