I changed the title of the thread, to reflect that the update is now becoming available for some users.

Yes, always have a spare charger at work. That's where I do most of my charging.

Thanks to Tag Heuer for fulfiling its promise to release it by end of March. One feature is still absent for users with iOS, which is the cloudsync. Without cloudsync, you are depending on bluetooth connectivity for notifications. When paired with android phones, notifications are shared wherever you are connected.

Unless the apps are installed directly to the watch, then it can download notifications directly from wifi.

Wohoo!

Dont know why it did not get here before. But I disabled bluetooth on the phone and tried over wifi on the watch. Then finally! 😀

This is awesome, I rang customer service back today (U.K.) and after I told them that it's been released to other people around the world.

I was informed, that's its slowly being rolled out and it should be on everyone's Connected Watch by the 3rd April.

Has anyone played with the watchdace building app??

The one thing that has completely disappeared for me are the Ambassador watch faces.

Are those still visible to any of you who have applied the 2.0 update?

I compared the builds of both of my watches and they are different:

2015 Connected: Build NXG46Q / Android Wear 2.0.0.147747791
vs.
2017 Connected Modular 45mm: Build N7G471 / Android Wear 2.0.0.149356742

Here's the battery performance when running the "AW 2.0 update" , this includes the consumption when applying the update plus downloading updates for most APPS.

Wow. Actually the most i can get from my watch is just 14 hours. But generally it is ok for me as i will took it off from the charger 8.00am daily and put it on again to the charger for overnight charge around 10.00 pm. This is when paired with iOS, Automatic Wifi and always on Display. The battery usage worsen if i use Watchfaces from Watchmaker as it requires extra energy for 'not so energy efficient' ambient mode of those watchfaces.

WatchMaker consumption will be pronounced. Once the calibration is completed after three or four cycles with the "default settings and lots of idle time", I can try to see how much WatchMaker consumes. Of course some faces will drain more than others, but at least we'll get a rough idea.
