Fair one. I do suspect there is a price premium attached to the fragment collaboration however. So perhaps that isnt the price to peg to...

My idea of the gf. bracelet would push the price up I'm sure as the lug width is less so I guess that's need bespoke mods to endlinks etc.
I agree! I'm not sure "Design by Calibre 11" is quite the same as "Design by Fujiwara" 😁

Would be nice...but what I can tell you for sure is that if there was a C11 LE with the same design and movement, then the price would also be the same (the Siffert Autavia was pegged on the price of the Jack Heuer 85). Not sure I'd be as confident about moving 100X $8k TAG Heuers as I was about 100X $6k TAG Heuers...
It does appear that at this price even tag/fujiwara label not shifting the stock... still available in UK.

Agree. It was overpriced for what it is, and for once, people can see that.

Shall we expect a post about them being in Bicester Village around 2023? 😁

That's actually fantastic. Unfortunately they're out of stock at the moment, but I will almost certainly be getting one of these.

Also:

* You can specify 'no date' which removes the date from the stupid 4:30 position;
* A very cool engraving of an Aston Martin DB5 on the case back; and
* A Seiko meca-quartz movement.

3 out of 4 dials are in stock. The evil panda will be back in stock in 2 to 3 weeks according to Dan. I'm on the waiting list for that one. The 1964 LE pieces will no doubt sell out fast.

Looked at it a bit more closely. It's a very good deal, but ultimately I think I will be disappointed with it (I am not a fan of the Seiko mecha-quartz movements for one - would prefer a normal quartz). I would probably end up flipping it once the novelty wore off, so I am going to resist the temptation this time. 😀

I still have this watch, which I believe to be even better value - same price - if you can stomach a Chinese mechanical chrono (mine has been reliable).

Yes @imagwai I have seen a thread about this one, I believe a number of members have this watch. It's a nice looking piece. My vintage Arsa has the same sort of look& feel. I like the Dan Henry because of the case design, dial and BOR bracelet but also because of the guy behind it. It's a stunning racing inspired chronograph that I can wear as a beater, like my PD Orfina, and not having to worry about dents and scratches. I have a few Seiko's with various automatics and love most of them. I've heard good things from that mecha-quartz. A new experience. My watchmaker says the repair battery is very expensive though.

Might have...must say that when I put them side-by-side they look the same to me (maybe the positioning of the pushers/ crown has changed?)
In addition to the positioning of the crown, doesn't the lug depth look bigger?

Also the dimensions of the lugs seem to be a bit better defined. Don't you think?

The crown is in a different place (thickness-wise) due to the modular movement in the skipper vs the integrated movement in the Fujiwara.

Yes. I have yet to get mine. Once I do, I'll take some detailed pictures against the Telemeter.

The Telemeter will be the same as it also has a modular movement.

Yes, I don't have a Skipper, but would expect it to have the same case as the Telemeter.

The only difference I can see are crown and pushers..both set marginally lower on the Skipper. Note that the Skipper pushers have “cut out” sections when viewed from the back- the Fragment doesn’t.

Thanks for the pictures; the strap looks good. I have mine ready too!
