Mine arrived last night and so far, so good. A few notes:
- First thing that I did was remove the cuff. That's quite easy to do once you have taken off the strap (only one end needs to be removed)
- The leather strap has a high-shine patent leather style finish...I'm not sure on this one. I'm not a fan of pin buckles either, so I am looking to get a Telemeter strap and deployant ASAP
- For me, the size is perfect..wouldn't change it by a mm.
- The glassbox case looks great on this design..I think that the dial makes a big difference compared to the Telemeter. On the Calibre 18 Telemeter, the dial has a slight "pie pan" finish, meaning that the edges fold away. Here the dial is "edge to edge" and flat, making it look just that little bit bigger
Overall, I am really, really happy with this one. A beautiful looking watch and nice and light on the wrist. A couple of quick shots below

I hope they add a non LE version to the heritage line. This is a winner in my book.

·Yes, the glassbox crystal is the same as the Skipper/ Telemeter. I really like the glassbox because it reminds me of the slightly domes crystals of the vintage Carreras. These would always slightly "warp" visibility around the edges of the crystal, which I kind of like..but I get that if you are used to flat crystals it does look odd.

Nice one. I do like this one a lot, just not enough to drop the amount they're asking. I also hope for a sensibly-priced, non-LE version in due course. You're doing the right thing changing the strap for the rally and deployant. I agree with you about the dial - it doesn't look as cramped as the Calibre 18 offerings. Only complaint being that it looks like there's quite a thick "milky ring" made by the glassbox crystal?
I also like this but not at the price and not with the strap options presented.
Bring on the Sensibly priced, C11 LE????

·Would be nice...but what I can tell you for sure is that if there was a C11 LE with the same design and movement, then the price would also be the same (the Siffert Autavia was pegged on the price of the Jack Heuer 85). Not sure I'd be as confident about moving 100X $8k TAG Heuers as I was about 100X $6k TAG Heuers...
My idea of the gf. bracelet would push the price up I'm sure as the lug width is less so I guess that's need bespoke mods to endlinks etc.
