Lovely, I really like the rubber strap but that's next level 👍

Just wish it was easier to swap between straps. Did you get the dealer to do it or did you manage it yourself?

I tried but couldn’t get the strap off. It’s my friends watch, he ended up taking it to a shop to have it removed. It took him a while to get the strap off. Going forward regular spring bars are going to be used so swapping out will be easy. I don’t think he will be swapping it back to the strap any time soon.

What's weird is that @Anthony. had his boutique swap out his Seafarer's springbars too, but they said it was easy to remove. There's a mystery to how these new springbars operate that we just don't understand.

I'm sure they've shared the technique and/or tools necessary with boutiques and maybe ADs. Whether that's made public though we'll see

Great shots! If I owned a Seafarer, your pics would have me sold on getting the bracelet for it.
Thank you - if anyone is interested Vegas AD has one as of earlier today for sale. So tempting…

Yes, I also heard that US boutiques got a second batch allocation, around 11 or so. Also, some portion of the allocation seems to be floating, so that a US Boutique can order it in if not in their local stock.

Good to hear that the watch is not sold out and still available 👍🏻 Dom, you should buy it!

Yes, some said it was sold out two months ago 😁 which is clearly just a sales tactic to push people towards a purchase driven by fomo

I am always happy when a limited edition does not sell out, it means genuine fans can buy one without rushing 👍🏻

Me too. If a new watch comes out which I am desperate to get as it’s so cool, then why wouldn’t I want similar enthusiasts (or indeed anyone) to also be able to get one?

In the real world it is rare to see someone else with your watch on, even with the most popular pieces.

Fingers crossed that some more of our members are now able to grab one. 👍🏽

Hi all! Long time lurker, finally decided to make an account to join the community.

Received an email from my local TH btq in Brighton mentioning that WOSG has gotten hold of some Seafarers and asked if I wanted to secure one. I'm holding off for a bit due to a house move but thought you all might like to hear that some of your local AD's have started getting them in.

Have a fab evening all, time to work on my profile!

Welcome @Rhombus. 👍🏽

Interesting that these sold out pieces have now even been made available to AD’s.

It is quite odd, but when I first went in to ask about it they did mention it was being released in waves, but weren't told any reason as to why (I myself would find it incredibly funny if it was literally because Seafarer = sea = waves).

But they've been very honest with me about the availability of pieces in the past so I'm happy to believe them for now, I always pop in if passing by for a free coffee and a chat about any new updates as they're very friendly.

and two listings on eBay —

Here’s a third one, now listed on eBay . . . $9800, BuyItNow —

I don't have definitive information about the release in waves, but it does make sense in view of the initial 125 watches being sold by Hodinkee. With 125 for Hodinkee to sell immediately, and another 843 to be sold by TAG Heuer, you have to imagine that Hodinkee asked for some protection from this overhang. If all the watches to be sold by TAG Heuer were available on Day One, it would have been more difficult for Hodinkee to sell their 125.
