·There is certainly no shortage of great watches in there. My choice would be the Pistachio Breitling Premier. Unconventional, but it always draws my eye when I see it. Proper cool.

·TAG Heuer is the obvious omission in this line-up. Probably has to do wit the fact that they have zero heritage chronographs in the regular range. For a brand that has such a great history of and is still very much associated with chronos, that seems bizarre. Arnault’s recent comments leave little hope in that respect.
From this list I would also choose the Zenith although I’m also triggered by the Habring.

·Seems nearly every steel Rolex mens watch is hard to get these days.
I'm afraid I've never been a fan of the Milgauss. I think it's the blue tint to the crystal more than anything else.

It’s a Mecca Quartz, so not big ticket, but would incur 20% VAT and import duties to UK, so will add a bit to it.
I realise it’s not to everyone’s taste.
