Spent sometime revisiting Zenith, gosh these were all so nice! (and expensive... sigh)

Still not sure which is my favorite.
Didn't they have the A3817, seriously contemplating that one, even though I already have a covergirl, as I will never get the call for a Snoopy 3?

Is it the Pelagos 39? 😜

They didn't have the A3817, but I like that one too!

For some reason the blue Snoopy Speedy is of little interest to me. I did stop by Omega as well, the new Speedmaster 57 was something I hadn't seen in the metal before.

I've thought about it a bunch lately and think that I've landed on the 3817 with ladder bracelet as my choice, even including all the LEs. The second Lupin would be my second choice but it's a distant one

I had the chance to try on the one that was being offered at Phillips this summer. Nobody ever mentions how much thicker it is than a standard Speedmaster - it feels like a real porker. I hated it

At a GTG which included Robert Jan from Fratello I saw all 3 Snoopy's, can't really say if I like it just because it would make a nice set with my A11 50th. Pricewise it's now almost €11k RRP (no bracelet or even a deployant clasp in the package), which is a bit ridiculous if I think about it (not even talking about current premium).

Iconic colorscheme with the added bonus of the visually appealing sharktooth and pulsometer makes it a good choice.

I might be with you guys as well on the A3817.

I used to think the A386 style of the Chronomaster Original was my favorite, but the long upright lugs don't sit well on my wrist. Hence, I'm also leaning towards the A384/A3817 blocky style case. The Chronomaster Sport is hard to dismiss though.

I never thought that. It sat tall because the strap is garbage, but once on a bracelet it felt the same as all my other speedies. I think from memory it’s approx 0.5mm taller is it not?

I quite like the coloured ones - but like all omegas they are getting bloody pricey - the thick end of £9k!

I don't think the US has experienced the latest Omega price hike yet, but they're still expensive enough. As is TAG Heuer for that matter. So I guess we're back to Tudor again! 😗

I’m talking rubbish - but still £8,100 is quite pricey. I love omega watches, but they are slowly creeping upwards and getting to a point where I probably won’t pay it.

I guess it’s trying to price themselves against Rolex and create some gap to the others like TAG, Tudor etc.

Omegas are now way too expensive across the board. £6k for a standard hesalite Speedy is too much IMO.

Yes, I find it amazing that the standard Seamaster remains such good value if I’m honest

And the paddle chrono hand, which is a huge plus. I really enjoy the Shadow, the case is really awesome, but the lack of a seconds track on the dial is a huge downer for me.

I like the 386, but neither is a good choice - the old one, has that stupid star on the chrono hand. The new one doesn't, but the 1/10th chrono is just not something I really care for (or to pay a premium for)

I dunno what the exact dimensions are or what the strap has to do with it, but I just found it noticeably bigger-feeling.

Fair enough. I’ve never noticed it, but maybe that’s just me.

the strap is an issue as it is so stiff it doesn’t allow the watch to sink into the wrist - rather it sits on it, and thus accentuates the thickness. It’s not uncommon. Many that have this watch have binned the strap and bought the bracelet.

The more I see this watch, the more I think Tudor has got a run away hit on their hands.

I'm just glad I don't need (or want) another black diver, otherwise I'd be massively frustrated by the huge wait lists that have developed since it was announced.

Agreed. They have a massive hit on their hands. Beyond an enthusiast audience, I can see the watch having huge broad appeal - fingers crossed that Tudor will actually pump these out in huge volumes eventually.

I expect supply won’t be an issue, the bb58 and gmt supply settled down within 6 months so you could just order one.
