Anyone else missing off this? Ignoring ‘fashion brands’ I can think of:
I don't understand, do you consider those brands to be "fashion brands"? 😒

I meant ignoring fashion brands (watches made under license from a clothing or fragerance company using the name to shift a crap watch) then in terms of traditional or more recent pure watch plays, then these brands are not on the chart. I had hoped it would be self evident given the brands listed. But hopefully this clarifies the meaning. 😀

Yes, it leaves off Movado Group, which besides Movado branded watches, owns Concord and Ebel, and makes watches for numerous fashion brands like Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger.

I had no idea that Citizen owns Bulova. Makes sense that I've got a Bulova watch with a Miyota automatic movement though....

Amazing artisan for sure. However, ignoring the cost, I doubt I would ever do it to any of my watches.
no doubt " amazing "...i wonder how much it would cost ???

Nice, but $6400 nice??
I think so yes. IWC is not a cheap brand and this is at the low end of their price range. It addresses the main issues collectors have with the mark series. None of the marks are perfect besides the original which is only 36mm. This one comes closest at 39mm. Has to do with date position, font, omitting numerals etc. It’s complex in int’s simplicity.

IWC should be cheaper though. I like the brand but cannot swallow their pricing model. IWC is definitely not value for money!

Interesting. Something new and fun. Expensive for a swatch but in small numbers likely to become very collctable I would have thought. More innovative and novel than simply putting a cartoon on the watch face that’s for sure.

You're joking? Wow. Must be $6,000 profit in every one!
😀 They probably could've asked a bit more, all 500 sold out within a day.
