Seems wrong to me, the cap should come off how else would they fit in the lugholes.

that’s my logic. God knows how to remove though.

Not sure if I’m being thick or not.

Went to my AD & picked up some new Tudor spring bars (from what I can tell the BB54 takes a smaller diameter spring bar than the BB58 - my ones don’t fit the rubber strap).

Anyways the spring bars seem to have a cap on the end. Either this is the style or I’m being thick and cannot get what seems to a cap of the end.

Spring bar tool worked. However they seem to be 18mm instead of 20mm and too thick. #annoying!

“There are only three real sports: Mountaineering, bullfighting and motor racing. The rest are merely games”
I’ll accept bullfighting when it’s one man v one bull from the off, make all the rest(guys on horses etc) redundant.

I believe the point was "these are the 3 things left in live that are competitive ways to avoid death".

Yup! Can't say I agree with the bullfighting bit either, but it's something I love whipping out anytime someone gives me a face for saying I love car racing 😁

This new Timex Legacy Tonneau Chronograph looks like a knockoff of the Porsche Design Chrono 1 - 75 years.
But I like it!

Same here. I tend to use it whenever someone refers to football as a sport.

It's only taken me 2 years....

Mine all get far more wrist time than I thought they would originally. Now that the hype has died down I think these are really fun watches full of cool details.

Swapping out the dreadful standard straps makes a huge difference to the wearing experience!

Enjoy.

The problem I have with this is that it looks like that Longines with the stars.... but clearly the Tudor only got 2/5...

Can’t stand those stars on the Longines (& I know it’s linked to their heritage) at least put them on the back.

The Tudor is 2 stars for 20 title wins for Inter. Guess if a passionate fan worth buying.

Anyone have any experience with the Tissot Gentleman Automatic?

Potentially looking to pick up a green one for a friend of mine.

Long story short, he got into watches when his 2nd child son was born, name down for a Rolex Sub (but not expecting a call), others on his wishlist were Rolex DJ green dial, Speedy Pro. Unfortunately the job industry he’s in took a turn for the worse, then house. I’ve out of the city, derailed all his watch funds.

Then Tudor announced the monochrome Blackbay which he loved, but some sudden ill health, has put a stop to any big purchase.

I’m thinking this would make a nice first watch and gift. Has DJ vibes which he liked and can be dressed up.

Any one have any faults? Or real life reviews?

Now then @McBeardy!

Don't get too excited though, as this was a special edition for Tadej Pogacar as winner of the Girod-Italia. Very cool though...
