Christian actually talking sense for once. Particularly viz the 'watch community' vs the 'watch market'

I have criticised this guy and I am afraid to say it, for so many reasons 😀, but you are actually spot on. This video still shows his personality but not the stupid quips and soundbites he usually does when accompanied. I think he should stick to this style and ditch the nodding dogs.

I also just realised that I should have been a Blue Collar Millionaire, as I seem to actively avoid the stuff that most people on here run towards.

it’s not deliberate, I just can’t help liking stuff out of the ordinary. Actually, change that to mainstream in the collector community, as ordinary sounds like a dig and it’s really not.

Cheers for posting that link. I wasn’t aware of the latest version, but did consider previous versions, albeit ending up buying a brand I know better.

These are cool though, with some good reviews suggesting a good quality too. Price looks keen, albeit with VAT and import duties to add.

Presently, I am trying to be good but also mulling over maybe switching up my current small collection. Would like to see that Tudor Cycling piece, just to compare to my Red Bull FXD, although there’s a few random others that intrigue me as I get pickier with my choices. 😀

Remember when people said TAG Heuer shouldn't sell shades if they want to be taken seriously?

Here you go @McBeardy

Looks quite small on wrist.

This detail at the bottom is cool too:

Thanks it’s on my wish list to watch later.

Didnt realise £2.5k though.

Plus VAT and import duties.

They look nicely done though in fairness.

This is where German speakers would cite the eternal words of Andy Möller:
“Madrid or Mailand (= Milano)… I don’t care as long as it’s an Italian club.” 😁
Who is andy Möller?

Footballer of the 90s. Part of the relatively select club of those who have won literally everything (World Cup, Euro, Champions & Europa League, national titles & cups). And originator of some really sharp “one-liners”…

Wow none of those things sound familiar to me. Is this football thing big where you live? I never understood the concept of watching 90 minutes of grown men chasing a small ball.

It's massive in England certainly. My team triumphed last night in the Championship play-off semi-final. Hoping they can do the same against Leeds in the final next week.

Funny, but it'll never top this Sky Sports moment:
Just ... wow. Talk about losing the ball....

Not sure if I’m being thick or not.

Went to my AD & picked up some new Tudor spring bars (from what I can tell the BB54 takes a smaller diameter spring bar than the BB58 - my ones don’t fit the rubber strap).

Anyways the spring bars seem to have a cap on the end. Either this is the style or I’m being thick and cannot get what seems to a cap of the end.

this is the style
Seems wrong to me, the cap should come off how else would they fit in the lugholes.
