Gosh, I love so many of these! 🥰

One that I wasn't familiar with that caught my eye is this Nivada Grenchen. Easy on the eyes, easy on the wrist and easy on my wallet. 👍

There is certainly no shortage of great watches in there. My choice would be the Pistachio Breitling Premier. Unconventional, but it always draws my eye when I see it. Proper cool.

Zenith for me.
Me too. But my hopes of buying one have been delayed, since I decided to get the Carrera 60th Anniversary instead.

I like the Zenith a lot too. Certainly the better movement, plus classic looks.

TAG Heuer is the obvious omission in this line-up. Probably has to do wit the fact that they have zero heritage chronographs in the regular range. For a brand that has such a great history of and is still very much associated with chronos, that seems bizarre. Arnault’s recent comments leave little hope in that respect.
From this list I would also choose the Zenith although I’m also triggered by the Habring.

When I bought this it didn’t really get much comment; other than from fellow nerds. Recently put it on after not wearing for a while…. Main comment seems to be ‘how did you get one of these??’

seems the milgauss is well and truly in the rest of Rolex frenzy now.

Nice - love the z-blue. Done well on the grey market also….

Seems nearly every steel Rolex mens watch is hard to get these days.

I'm afraid I've never been a fan of the Milgauss. I think it's the blue tint to the crystal more than anything else.

If it had TAG on the dial, you’d have got one already. 😀

Umm, no... cos it looks like it's from the Art Deco period as well as being a disgusting colour.

Ok, maybe something else you may not like, but this just cropped up and interested in people’s thoughts…

It’s a Mecca Quartz, so not big ticket, but would incur 20% VAT and import duties to UK, so will add a bit to it.

I realise it’s not to everyone’s taste.

I do think Brew watches are interesting. I am not a fan of the mecha-quartz movement, though (had a couple of microbrand watches and it wasn't very reliable or nice to use). Prefer the original steel and multi-colour dial to the gold as well.

I'd take that over the Pistachiograph any day. 😁
