Yeah definitely tempting. But I'm holding off, I actually prefer the 1st reissue size. 21mm lug width might not even take a Tropic, they only make them in 20 and 22. And from my experience it won't be very easy squeezing a 22 onto tighter lugs.

Bond watch dropped. I’m not sure I think the small-wave pattern works on this, nor do I love the pip-less bezel. But the caseback has a very cool way of animating the classic Bond opening scene.
I like it! No 007 all over the dial like the 40th & 50th is a good thing. But it's too similar to my NTTD for me to justify buying I think.
I'm sure this will look very nice on the wrist. Tried the NTTD once and really liked it. No lume pip is daring. The dial is very clean, no? Even the remarkable hands aren't standing out. Missing red accents? Bigger waves?
The caseback animation is very cool! But I think it does add some thickness. One of the things I like about my NTTD is its thinner (12.9mm) than the standard Seamaster. There are actually two 60th Anniversary Bond watches. The stainless steel at about $7k and Canopus Gold at over $130k!!!
I don’t see the point of buying that one over a freshly serviced 90s Brosnan SMP for one third of the price (because yes - the new one is almost 8.5k VAT included)…
