Visible on the Aus site. That's as uninteresting as I thought it would be from the leaked images.
Totally agree but in a way good that there is something for the fan of understated watches

Watch sites.... man, there's what six paragraphs of text, the first four aren't even about this watch. And they never ever give an 'opinion', it's just 'exclusive' photos, blah..

Not knocking you Jim, I just find most watch sites seriously weak. They just parrot press releases and this one spends its first paragraph talking about 1969 (it's a watch site, your readers know about Steve McQueen FFS) then two other random Monacos and then the previous three Anniversary Monacos.... then they manage two short paragraphs on this actual watch where they tell you 'nothing' about it. I just wish they would express an opinion once in a while... but then they might expose themselves to being 'against the trend' and that would never do (#mockedonsocialmedia)

Actually as a watch I like it, maybe not quite the limited edition but in a general addition to the range, yes.

Admittedly if you ignore the previous three it stands on it's own better... it's just disappointing because the first three were really nice.

It reminds me of my Montreal a lot. Don鈥檛 think there鈥檚 another reference with that white ring in Heuer鈥檚 catalogue.

Doesn't it annoy you though this 'surface' level (barely that) reporting? It's so lazy... and insubstantial, it's almost like cut and paste. Oh it's a Monaco well clearly we HAVE to get Steve McQueen in there, its like ICONIC. I wouldn't mind but these people presumably get pictures in advance so they have time to write a piece and form at least an initial opinion! Not that they would give an honest opinion, they just don't write about things they don't like (unless they have to). Bah.... 馃

Yes, I get it. I suppose you could call it a 'First look' but I agree the picture of the 1969 Monaco, the V4 and the never produced model next to it seemed rather pointless.

David's article gives an opinion, I disagree with it... but at least he gives it. And now I see some better pictures I realise those red/orange lolipops look very silly indeed...馃槻

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Red and orange..... AGAIN.

WTF is going on at TAG Heuer? They ruined the latest Gulf Monacos with the horrible clash of red and orange and now they have done it again.

Someone is either colour blind or needs firing.

And I'm done 馃榾.

Contrary to some, I think orange and red works together. Having said that, this release is a little tame compared to some of the other Monacos. I'd far rather have a McQueen or silver dial version. What really puts me off all of these special editions is the pushers. I want mushrooms, and I want 37mm case please! 馃榾

So now this one is out of the way we're back to looking at the renders for the next one and wondering what the hell is up with that case... or is it just a really bad quality render?

The red and orange is probably the only thing I'm ok with 馃槈
Biggest issues: the minutes ring could have been a lot slimmer, clear from the subdials. The black and white subdial contours make them look a lot bigger than on the other Monacos. It seems to be sporting heavy glasses.

Oh yes, the case looks like that AP Royal Oak frosted model - sort of.
