Aquagraph
·Fair play to TAG Heuer they have somehow managed to make a new 'avant garde' watch while somehow making it okay with the old guard. Bloody clever trick if you can do it.

The book looks very tidy. Which is a sure fire give away that it's not complete. 6 watches to a page/year, clearly some must have been left off to get it into multiples of 6. I will check soon, I have only seen one watch that I'm not sure about so far, but I will make sure all the watches in the book are on my list... and ultimately in my 'History of the Carrera' posts.
I get that choices were made, after all, any record would be out of date by the time it comes to press. And it wouldn't look as good with some pages with one watch on... personally I think it's a shame that straps weren't included, although it is quite interesting to see watch heads in isolation. Sometimes you find a watch that has less 'colour' on it than you thought once you take the strap away.
I also think the Carrera 'modules' for the Connected should be in there too, since they literally say Carrera on them.
For a database that includes digital illustrations that are "head only", it would have been impracticable to include strap variations . . . yes, they could have added notations for the different straps and bracelets, but is it really that interesting? Or does it just make the database more cumbersome?
However, from a what's missing viewpoint, I'm primarily interested in the watch heads.

I also would've preferred if the book's pictures included the strap/bracelet. For me, the strap and/or bracelet can make a big difference on the overall look of the watch. Also, it's good to know how these were actually sold, because it's easy to swap straps, even OEM straps from a different model.

Okay, so I'm really way more interested in what's in the book that isn't on my list than what's missing from the book... and I've only been through the book once (took an hour, not doing it again) but these are the watches I think could be missing from the book -

XXXXXXX.XXXXXX (Mexico Angel Special Edition)
XXXXXXX.XXXXXX (The Thin Blue Line Limited Edition - Ladies)
There is one Mexico Angel Carrera in the book, but there are two different ones.
The Silver 160th Anniversary has the wrong part number in the book it should be CBK221B not CBK211B
