I just bought my first Heuer watch, an Autavia. I noticed the minute counter on the 3 o’clock subdial has individual minute hashes, but every picture on the internet has the 2 1/2 minute hashes. Is this a recent change in the dial design, or something different? The ref number on the back is CBE2110-0.

Can you post a picture of yours please - if this is true Im much more interested in the standard Autavia now

CBE2111 has the minutes so maybe they've changed it to be the same... doubtful though I would have thought. TAG website still shows the 2.5 markers.

Where did you buy it from, is it legit?

The -0 on the model number denotes a minor modification to the spec. This change to the minute subdial has already been confirmed by Calibre11 in another thread.

Yes, I heard this on another forum too, it's been 'updated' as per the Limited Edition. All good in my book! 😀

Here is a picture of the CBE2110-0. I bought it at an AD, so it should be legit. Thank you for the quick replies.

I liked the idea of the Autavia but the 3 oclock register looked funny to my eye and was a dealbreaker on the earlier version - now it looks perfect 😀

Oh wow, I really like the change and feel a bit disappointed that I didn't wait enough to get the new dial. On the other hand, it's a quite fun story and I really thought TAG would be able to plan this kind of stuff ahead.

Hopefully it can be super-rare collectable for coming generations and it's maybe possible to also buy the "new dial" when handing it into an AD/TAG for a service in some years time.

I asked this on the 85th Anniversary thread as this is the watch I got but the movements are the same so thought I’d ask here as well. I’m new to these kind of watches and have just purchased the 85th Anniversay edition today. However I am noticing it to be a bit louder than my 43mm Skeleton Heuer01 watch that I have had for a few months now.

If I move my wrist fairly fast I can hear the movement quiet clearly (hard to explain but a bit like a hissing noise) for a few seconds before it stops. I had never noticed this sound before on the Skeleton watch I have.

Can you tell me if this is normal or if I may have a faulty one please.

First of all, welcome to Calibre11 and congrats on an awesome watch!

I also have the "hissing" noise of the rotor and it's quite loud when the rotor starts moving quickly. This is however normal for the Heuer02 movement since I've heard several others point it out as well.

If this is a good or bad thing is up for you to decide, but I kind of like it when you sometimes can hear the rotor when you're reaching for something with your arm or similar!😀

Yeah the movement is not the quietest for sure, but I think that is the charm, as at least you hear and feel that pure mechanical element of the watch when the rotor spins and the watch winds.

It seemed quieter in the JH85, maybe due to the steel caseback.....or I didn’t notice it so much, or it was just a quieter movement.

I kinda like loud movement compare to the quite one. Well i like both, to think about it. I dont prefer dress watch with loud movement. But for chonometer, for me it's always welcome.

By the way one of my favorite watch use sistem51. People said it's as wall clock, but i surely love it.
