Thanks guys for the reassurance.

Now my only problem is that I also like the 'normal' Heritage Autavia that you guys have and am sorely tempted to add it as well!!!

The noise you hear is because the oscillating rotor winds in only a clockwise direction and free wheels in the other so the bearing is making the sound. The Valjoux 775* series movts are the same and equally noisy.
