Hey, I just noticed that on the UK website, if you look at the black Autavia flyback, if you go right down to the bottom of the page it offers straps! Finally they listen!

Nobody's really gonna want one so they're hoping they can get some FOMO buys

They also suggest a nice SS bracelet for the black Autavia 馃憤

100m, wow! Only for true adventure seekers. Great innovation that screw down-crown. Definitely makes me wanna stay true to myself.

Can鈥檛 wait to feel in total harmony with myself when I wind that crown. I might quick-release.

Can someone explain to me how the base metal affects the coating? Is it just that it doesn't adhere as well?
I dont know the science behind it, I have just read so many times that the harder the material is, the better the coating will manage taking a beating. Which should explain why many brands do their blck coated watches in titanium, this has been an easy way to make them sweet black watches remain black for a longer period of time.

Well to be fair, many chronographs aren't built specifically for WR as the pushers are very difficult to seal. Even most diver chronos on the market are just 200m rated. Only the crazier purpose-built chronos go further (like the Aquagraph with its rubber covers, or the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean which is so overbuilt it's just nutty)

Actually that's a pretty good point, considering the Glassbox Carrera is also 100m WR, but doesn't need a fussy screw-down crown. Interesting

Mmmmmm, Swedish meatballs.馃お

Swedes don't actually eat meatballs, that's just Ikean propaganda. Swedes eating Herring, Mackeral and any other fish they can get their hands on. I don't know if they eat boiled sausages, you'd have to ask Beardy.

Meatballs we mainly eat during holidays like Christmas, easter, midsummer. On average days like today, you are correct sir I had fish for lunch.

But they do WR testing at the factory with the crown not screwed in so it's not really necessary as I understand my from Archer.

I like fish too, as long as it鈥檚 cooked, sushi doesn鈥檛 interest me, today was actually buffalo meat, and buffalo mozzarella.

Meatballs, the only thing I鈥檝e bought in Ikea.

I believe "Limited Quantity" just means they have a smaller amount available to sell on-line, I've seen this with other TH watches too that are not SEs or LEs.
