Thanks but it doesn’t work on this one. just clicks two times.
First click (position 2) is for time set and second click is date adjustment.
Isnt the el primero famous for not being hackable?

I’ve had watches where if you put on a bit of tension on the crown as if you’re winding back the time, this stops the second to allow it to be aligned to real life. Hope I’m explaining this right.

No M24s left.... probably still got Grand Carreras, although.... maybe not! Not on my list anyway.... perhaps he didn't bother telling me those cos they are never going to sell at £5000!

I'm guessing M24 refers to Monaco Twenty Four, like this gorgeous beast?

I think my calibre 11 Monaco rivals it. Different kind of cool I suppose. Both smart in the dapper sense of the word.

Very nice piece sir

The Monaco wouldn't be my choice, as I'm not a huge fan of "square" watches aside from the Silverstone. Your Monza is as close to square as I'm comfortable with!

Definitely a showpiece with the full-size exhibition back. Only reason I brought it up was the mention of the Cal. 36 along with M24 - those are pictures of one we sold in December last year.

I think you’re probably right jim. Tried unscrewing the back and jamming my leatherman screwdriver in the gears but the el primero is too mighty and has snapped the leatherman as the seconds swept round in a relentless fashion.

That's like nails on a chalkboard - seriously made me cringe.

Seriously mistreating a leatherman - might as well stab a rock.

Seems to jump a little when the chronograph is started.
Think I heard this happens sometimes with non vertical clutches

Does anyone know if the sub seconds can be stopped while setting the time? Or is it a case of waiting 55hours for it to stop! 1st world problems

The Calibre 36 doesn't hack.

Bought a strap from watchstrap world. £40 inc postage.
Didn’t know whether the colour scheme would work. Tried to give the monza with the sub dial a 10oclock a nod.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure after getting used to the more dressy brown crocodile strap.
A bit more playful

] Found a little glitch with this monza too. ::facepalm1::
I put three pictures up from the video I took in sequence. Showing what happens when I reset the chronograph.
Take note of the hour sub.

The first photo is the chronograph stoped.
The second photo is the chronograph reset.
The third photo is the chronograph reset a second time to fully reset the sub hours
