For some reason all Lego product photos show a woman handling it. Maybe she is moving it while cleaning her husbands office?

Yes, it is available on the 1st March but VIPs could purchase it from 16th February.

You just sign up an account at Lego.com to be a VIP though, it isn't anything special.

I ordered at 23:01 QLD time on 15th Feb, which was 00:01 on the 16th VIC time to secure my set. These things sell out like hot cakes sometimes and there was a VIP gift for the first few orders which I got.

I think I'll build the Turbo first.

The box with the card wallet, post cards and owners card.

Nice! I just signed up to be a VIP and ordered a kit. Hope I get the extra goodies too!

I'm going to try to build the Targa but incorporate the the Turbo's whale tail spoiler. Not sure if it's doable with the legos supplied, we'll see. :cautious:

Haha this is exactly what I started thinking. Haven’t even got the thing and I’m already thinking what to “mod”.

Finished building the LEGO Porsche. I had wanted to build a hybrid, a Turbo wide body and whale tail spoiler + Targa top. It would have been doable with enough pieces, however some parts needed to build the Turbo are also needed to complete the Targa version. There weren't enough pieces to create my desired hybrid.

    Work in progress

Finished 911 Turbo, along side my LEGO Mustang.
