    Nice!
I found building the Mustang exhausting frankly. Need to be in the right mood to start another one. I loved LEGO as a kid, had more fun creating my own stuff rather than following instructions. The guys who design these kits are geniuses though.

    Same.

I was (and still am) terrible at this.

    This is me.

    Absolutely, they really are.

My re-introduction to Lego started a couple years ago when I got my son interested in it. It has since snowballed....

I own one Exoto, this Porsche 934 RSR. Which I purchased used on eBay, but in like new condition, for about $350 USD. This was maybe 5-8 years ago. I see that prices have skyrocketed!

Ive been watching Project Binky on YouTube.
They are shoe horning Toyota celica GT4 turbo charged 4x4 engine and running gear in to an original mini.
It’s took 6 years so far and they have only just got the paint on it. Real good show.
My first two cars were minis from 1976 and i forget the 2nd

    It's brilliant isn't it!

I only came to it last year during lockdown. My first car was a 1983/4 Mini City 1000.

I often think about getting one to restore.
Bought my 76 mini 1000 for £175 spent love blood sweat and pocket money on it and the MOT guy said ‘I can’t put that on the rollers, the back end will fly off if I do. You want my advice kid...scrap it!’
My heart broke right there and then.

Learned a lot about mechanics on that mini.

I think everyone who’s had one loved it but knows the pain that comes with one.
Pull that choke out too far and the whole
    Cable comes with it etc.

First car was a mini, powered by a 1300gt engine from an Austin 1300GT, BIG exhaust etc, lots of fun for couple of hundred quid, how times change.
