Yes sorry I mean the new-one, GT86. The S2000 is still more raw and powerful compared to the 86 but precise handling and driving feel-wise, comparatively the same (high revving NA, stick shift, lightweight, good balance, RWD)

I’ve modified the 86 a bit and its truly a blast to drive. The driving feel is truly different compared to the Type R.

But the engine bay of the model looks kind of filthy! Were you trying to match the real thing too? LOL 🙄
I had a cocktail stick (painted black) as a bonnet prop and the model sat on a highish shelf so the dust gathered and looks kinda like the full size one, which I'd rather drive than clean!
Trophy I was awarded at a club weekend!

A guy in the car club has/had one and couldn't believe how much better it was after he got rid of the oe tyres, they were some crappy eco mileage things, now sticks rather than slides.

My wife told me "you'd be dusting that lot yourself!", worth it maybe, really nice collection.

Yes sir 👍 The 86/BRZ is a true Japanese “tuner” car With so many aftermarket parts all over the world, you could literally change every nut and bolt to your liking. I’ve done a pretty good number of “mods” in the 86 GR (Gazoo Racing) but still keeping it’s original design & principles. Still a street car with some trackday duties. No wild body kits, force induction etc. but still High revving, lightweight NA with superb fun & handling 😉

I’m using Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on the 86GR & 4S on the CTR 👍👍

I have a set of PS4s ready to go on the Honda but it taking longer to finish off the current rubber due to Covid, I ran Michelin’s on my ctr(ep3), I liked the way the tyres would chirp before reaching breakaway, a wee audible warning to back off.

I mostly use CK Modelcars and Porsche.com. Few other routes but found those the best. Giving both a break though whilst all this import issues etc is resolved.

This looks like a fun project for those who like play with LEGO. It's a new kit that can build either a 911 Turbo coupe or Targa.

Already in my list and a day one VIP purchase for me 👍
I built this Mustang kit a while back, will probably add the Porsche too at some point.

I'm a big fan of the Creator Expert vehicles and have the Ferrari F40, the Mini Cooper, the Aston Martin DB5 James Bond, the Mustang, the London Bus, ECTO-1 and the Caterham Seven 620R (technically an Ideas set but fits into the Creator Expert line up, IMO).
