Apparently Bella and Max borrowed Hubert's chopper to go to the Monaco grand prix. Just sayin...
Is that Hubert on the left...or right?😲

Hmm, I always pictured Hubert with a very short, white beard and quite... burly, shall we say. Probably completely wrong, but there we are... 😀

Hodinkee brings me out in hives, it's so..... just so.

I pay them little attention these days for the same reason.

When it comes to journalistic opine on watches, I always take them with a grain of salt. Ultimately it’s all about a particular watch singing to you, connecting to your inner passion. It can never be truly objective in collecting watches, cause how many watches do we really need? It’s always the stories and the emotion that gives more value for me rather than the pricetag itself. That is where Hodinkee marketed itself to where it is right now. I’m not really a true fan of Hodinkee, but you have to give them credit for making LVMH take a second look. If there’s one thing I’m a true fan, it’s right here at home, Calibre 11 😉

I'd rather read a "conflicted" Hodinkee article than an "independent" ABTW article every day of the week.

Is it like Richemont buying Watchfinder? 😕
You got a point about Watchfinder.

Although to be fair, they still reviews all sort of watches including Tag Heuer, in a good way i must say.

The only change I noticed was their prices going through the roof.

Hodinkee's prices couldn't really get much more expensive!

Why not?

I just prefer some of the other blogs such as Monochrome, for example.

I do occasionally speed read articles on ABTW though.

When I go to these watch sites, (Hodinkee, T&T, ABTW, WT, Monochrome, etc) I just type in the search function, “TAG Heuer”. And that’s just all what I basically read in them 😁

Other brands doesn’t really interest me, so I don’t bother reading the other articles 😜

Worn & Wound probably my favorite. I also like their balance between affordable and entry level luxury. Time & Tide can be good but often it feels like a long ad for the brand they are covering

I don't particularly read any of them anymore, do any of them offer actual opinions or are they all just reciting the press releases? I mean, there's a difference between giving out the need to know details like sizes, power reserves etc and just literally copying and pasting from the official PR. Otherwise you might just as well look at the brand's websites.
I remember QP (RIP) calling out TAG's bullshit carbon dial Aquaracers for example.

Anyone who says TAG Heuer is BS is a total crap :whipped:

Mmm, normally I would agree with you - but not in this case. Horrible printed 'fake' carbon dials that looked like newspaper print... poor show. I know the carbon dials on the new F1 isn't carbon, but it's worse to put fake carbon in a watch that has an actual carbon bezel and call it a carbon Aquaracer!
