I seem to remember most of the characters in comics that I read when I was a child were disfigured in some way, I assume that is the same in the Marvel films too? Do people who have been bitten by a radioactive octopus get stressed when they watch Spiderman?

Okay, but where do you draw the line.

Well that's the question really. But I don't think it'll be settled by two straight, white men 馃槈

We need to pander to the Snowflake society

This is always so funny to me - the people who throw around the term "snowflake" are the type of people who lose their minds if you so much as say "black James Bond" LMAO 馃榿

Ooooh, how dare you assume my sexuality! 馃槻

No assumptions... unless you're cavorting around Harrods with someone else's wife?!?! 馃槈

Me in Harrods earlier today.

Rob: Look at that disgusting pistachio thing there in the Breitling case.
Wife: Oh that's pretty bad, but it's not as bad as the 'peach' one next to it, it looks like a really bad bridesmaid's dress!

Oh, really... the old 'you have a wife you must be straight' angle?

"No Time To Die: Daniel Craig's final Bond film gets five-star reviews"

In his five-star review of the film, Kevin Maher of The Times said: "It's better than good. It's magnificent.
"Craig is a towering charismatic presence from opening frame to closing shot, and he bows out in terrific, soulful, style."

In his own five-star review, The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw described the film as an "epic barnstormer" which delivers "pathos, action, drama, camp comedy, heartbreak, macabre horror, and outrageously silly old-fashioned action".
Pretty far fetched. A Brit driving around with a full tank of gas.

Well Rob, if you're a woman, you're my kinda girl!

You can't change everything at once. Either you make him black, or a woman, or a black woman, or a black woman in a wheelchair, or a black woman in a wheelchair with a wife and two ethnically different children (by her wife - who may or may not be a woman), or you change the plots. If you change everything at once it will fail dismally and lose a ton of money.

I remember when Bernie Ecclestone said he really wanted a black driver in F1, but he had to be REALLY good. Because he knew that if a mediocre black driver came in to the sport and he wasn't good then it wouldn't help matters at all. Same thing, if you're going to make Bond black (much preferable to making him a woman btw, just as Miss Marple should stay a woman) then it has to be a film so good that no one can criticize it. Which is gonna be tough given that if you change everything at once people will say 'it's not a Bond film'..
For me, no problem if they chose a black actor,.

But we must get ready for a homosssexual or bissexual 007 in the future, as long as the paradigm of what we consider a bold and desirable man (what 007 always intended to be ssen as) is changing. It can sound strange to millenials and olders, but not to youger people. Who was born in 2003 (AKA yesterday) is 18 now.

Excellent, I propose Joe Lycett.

Also, I was thinking... about the next Bond, is it likely to be Idris Elba? Hasn't the role of Bond traditionally always been given to someone not exactly 'unknown' but not already a famous actor?

Also wasn't there some scene in one of the Bond films where he ends up fighting a masseuse in a towel? That could be revisited with a whole different 'happy' ending...

I really don't care who the next Bond is. As long as the films are good and entertaining, I'll continue to watch them.

Yes, but I don't see it as a deal breaker. Here's an Instagram story that shows this a bit.

"Story unavailable" :/ - would like to see if maybe an improvement has been made. Mine was a fairly early example since I received it a bit over a year ago now, wonder if they took feedback.

Even so, I find I also prefer the ceramic dial of the standard watch which is a whole lot of fun while the matte / drab colors of the NTTD didn't work as well IMO. Still, glad you're enjoying it 馃憤

There's still substantial reflection, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

I also would have preferred the ceramic bezel and less fauxtina. Bark and Jack did a video a while back illustrating how this could have looked.

Wow, I never dreamed that there would be such a blatant Omega plug in the film....
