Except for the 50th ann OHMSS (which was a stretch IMHO released as an LE) was there ever an Omega watch not tied to a Bond movie release?
Omega has previously released 40th and 50th Anniversary models. I don't exactly recall, but believe they were standalone releases rather than tied to a specific movie.

But I never really liked these. Too much 007 all over the dial for my taste.

Knowing Omega, I don't think they'll miss this opportunity to sell us another watch!
I know, right!? 😗

I would love to see a 60th anniversary based on the current heritage Seamaster 300s. Perfect excuse to go retro.

I think if they don't release a 50th anniversary Apollo 17 Speedy end of this year it's safe to say the celebration of anniversary editions is over, I'm saying this a no Apollo 15 50th and Bond 60th has been/will be released.

To be honest, all of these Omega space related anniversaries have gotten a bit silly to me. The moon landing is really the only one that matters, as far as I'm concerned. I did expect Omega to cash in on 60 years of Bond, but I have a feeling you're right.

My tribute to Craig on receiving his Commander rank and his latest Royal honors. The NTTD with Royal Navy Commander NATO strap.
Nice!

Those Goldfinger DB5 tributes are very cool! But I'm disappointed they're not equipped with the tire slashers that took out the Mustang (driven by Tilly Masterson).

Speaking of Mustangs, the producers had actually wanted a Gold Mustang Fastback for the movie. But Ford couldn't get it ready in time, since the Mustang had just been released. Nevertheless, they did actually end up building the Goldfinger Mustang seen here:

The Mustang was featured again in Thunderball and also Diamonds Are Forever.

While the DB5 is the ultimate Bond car, I sometimes think about buying a classic Mustang Mach 1, as it's much more attainable for the average Bond wannabe.

I'd be like this. LOL

Some fun art posters, featuring various Bond cars. (But strangely, no Brosnan.)

So with 2022 being the 60th Anniversary of James Bond, my goal is to have rewatched all the movies by year's end. Some movies I've seen over & over, others I haven't watched in decades. Tomorrow Never Dies falls into the latter category.

I was surprised to see how blatantly Omega placed the Seamaster all over the movie; it's in your face right at the start of the title sequence!
I had never noticed that before! 😲

Official pics of the 60th Anniversary James Bond watch. The new Seamaster draws heavily from the NTTD watch, pays tribute to Goldeneye in color and wave motif, and borrows the lollipop seconds hand from the Spectre edition.

The super expensive Canopus Gold version looks more like a Bond villain watch.

Nothing beats the NTTD you have though @Mspeedster for me though. The broad arrow and no actual Bond merchandising aspect to it, but it being a Bond watch in every way, is so cool.
