Rumour has it, Breitling had a bunch of watches with very poorly made bezel that never looked straight no matter what. So some genius came up with the idea of 'wonky' bracelets to distract the eye..... 😉

Propogate the rumour and see how long it takes to get picked up on a Breitling forum.😀

Here’s my case back from the Aquaracer. Thoughts?
Looks fine to me. How does the watch "feel"?

It’s solid. I bought it on a forum from someone I suspect is trustworthy, but wanted to be sure. Thank you!

To me your one looks more straight Otto.

To me it looks as if Bobo's is tilting a tiny bit to the right but it might just be the angle of the photo. If I zoom in on the photos and 100% scientifically 🙄 measure the distance between the logo and the C and the distance between the logo and the first R in Carrera, the distance between logo and R is a bit longer than between logo and C... But like I said, this could be the angle of the photo and it not, the beauty of hand applied logos means not always perfect (at least in this price range)

I can see this, but if you line up the right edge of the TAG Heuer logo, and the left edge of the date box, those look parallel. So perhaps if anything is off, it's the "Carrera" type rather than the TAG logo...?

You could be right.

Hi there. Hope someone can help. I am looking at this watch and, I am no expert, but from the photos all looks good. I do not think the strap is original and the deployment clasp should bear the Heuer logo, but these are not big issues for me. What is worrying me is that I cannot see a serial number. Looking at images of the same model for sale elsewhere there seems to be a variety of different engravings and serial number positions on teh back of the watch. Obviously I want to know if its genuine. Thanks in advance.

Looks legit to me. Wasn’t sure about the case back, but appears to be others out there with ‘Monza Re-Edition’ on them as well.

It’s model CR2110, and expect someone has swapped the strap at some point. I think originally it would have come with a brown strap and Heuer branded clasp. The black strap and TH branded clasp you have appears to have been for the Tag Heuer branded model.

What about this logo?

What about it? Is that not one of the new Carreras that you clearly haven't got...

Ok, it was there all along, just very, very feint. Thanks anyway.

Thanks Gambba. Model and serial no were there below the Heuer logo but invisible in the photo and barely perceptible in the flesh. And you are right about the strap and clasp. Not too fussed about the strap colour but the Heure logo on the clasp was a lovely touch and I’ll be keeping my eyes open for one of those. Thanks for your help.
