Claims was purchased from Earnest Jones

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122490255872
That's Earnest Jones the dodgy watch seller in the pub who just returned from a holiday to China, not Ernest Jones the jeweller.

Reported the v4 last week and it's still on there. Someone's losing a lot of cash on that crap.

this thread makes me cringe - it is truly helpful to educate and assist others in identifying and avoiding fraud but it is nonetheless discouraging for me to see counterfeit merchandise

Your watch certainly looks like the real deal. "CAR208Z" refers to the watch. "BF0719" refers to the bracelet. The "-0" on the end of the watch model number denotes an incremental model or an amendment of some kind (so if they make another manufacturing change to that model, then it will become "CAR208Z-1")

How about this one? Monaco Calibre 17 Chronograph CW2114 with brown sunburst dial, plexiglass and snakeskin strap. I'm sure that it's authentic, but the only thing I'm curious about is "ITALY" engraving on the back side. It says that only 230pcs made but I've found similar CW2114s with and without that ITALY engraving. I've also found few other ITALY limited edition Monacos with same engraving but different number than my (I mean that xxx/230) so this is not the only one in the world at least =D Also that ITALY engraving seems to be different than any other marks on the back side, it seems almost made by hand - although every other similar limited edition pieces I've found seems to have similar ITALY engraving.

Why this is limited edition and are those engravings authentic?
