Yep, I'd say genuine. As others have previously stated, replica TAG's from this "era" look terrible.

The modern replicas of non-existent models are also doing a great job in being terrible.

Fist off I would like to say hello, I came over from Omegafourmes and discovered this lovely forum. I recently purchased a Tag Heuer Formula 1 GMT and I would like to know your opinions of it is authentic or not.

Welcome. Could do with seeing the caseback but I think it's genuine. Has it been polished?

Found this on eBay. I reckon it's fake, minor details differ from the original pictures but it's not far off.

No "automatic" on top of the "officially certified" ?

Officially certified FAKE

@TheCaptainOfTech - that F1 GMT (WAZ211A) looks genuine! I really like the look of that F1. Looks like the one you have there has been through some rough times. Got a few battle scars!

If you search for the model number on your caseback, CAF1110, it brings up a different model Aquaracer. On that basis, I don't think it's genuine. The dial, and Tag logo in particular, is also causing me some concern.

That is not a CAF1110.

Looks as fake as a North Koreans smile.

I decided to pull the trigger on my first swiss watch and went with this TAG Heuer Aquaracer 300m from a 3rd party. I did a lot of research and was really excited for the watch, but I have a feeling its not authentic... I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide me with more information as to whether or not the watch I received is authentic.

The few red flags that made me suspicious were:
-model number on the back has "WAY211B-0" with a zero at the end, most other watches I've seen just show the "WAY211B" model number
-wrist clasp looks wider from other clasps that I've seen online
-wrist buckle does not have the TAG Heuer engraving as seen elsewhere

Any help or input would be most appreciated! Thank you!

Dont know about the clasp but the watch and strap both looks genuine to me. The -0 just means a minor revision.

Every-time one of these nightmares is reported, I can't help to feel a bit like this...
