Good evening all,

New to the forum and i have been through all 369 pages of this thread trying to educate myself on how to spot a fake….. I’m seeing lume pips in my sleep!
I am more confused now than before, it’s opened my eyes into the scale of counterfeit and its shocking. I’m going to look into a vintage Monaco or Monza for my first Tag but will stick around and try to help with the fake spotting. Thank you for the education you guys are a great source of knowledge. Keep it up!

Both common fakes with the usual tells: bezel, dial print, hands, indices, bezel pip, label sheets.

Check Chrono24 for each model and compare them yourself.

I would call fake on both unfortunately.

That Aquaracer is a fake for sure. The F1, probably, although I'm not as confident on those.

Can anyone hazard a guess at what edition this is masquerading as?
The closest i can get is CAW211A

The lume pip doesn't look good to me.
Cheers Martin, there is a small bump and it feels recessed some what. I've posted some more pics.
I can't imagine a faker putting the correct mechanism in it......

Date window looks the same, so does the bezel markings.
I did this before posting the question. It would help if you could be specific, I was hoping to join this forum and get some help.
If it really is fake then I need to go back to the seller with legitimate reasons for a refund.

Please highlight the difference between the photo below in comparison to mine please.

This is a genuine lume pip. The difference is very subtle and without having a fake side by side with a real watch you may never know. The fakes are unbelievably good for the aquaracer’s
