Is my TAG Heuer Authentic? All questions here please

Guys I’m really sorry if I’m doing this all wrong but I see nowhere else to post me question whilst it appears I’m actually replying to a question already asked which mine does not relate to at all. However I simply can’t find the tab to open up and ask a new question. I joined here around 3 months ago after being pointed in this direction by a guy who works for Tag. So basically I purchased a Tag Heuer CAZ101AN one of those with the rubber rather than the steel bracelet straps. I just loved the look of them in Red, Yellow and Green but in this case it refers to the Red. So I had one which I believed was totally genuine admittedly I did buy in EBay but it was at a higher price and from an apparent trusted seller and with it having all the original hang tags, original box, authentication/warranty card still with 9 months on the warranty at the time of purchase and in messages the guy sent a picture of it showing up on the Tag Heuer Watranyy Checker website indenting the exact same watch same serial number checking out etc I was and I still am really quite hopeful there isn’t an issue here. Anyway a friend of a friend saw the watch and wanted to buy it and offered me a price a bit higher than I paid. In the discussion that took place about the potential sale of the watch I showed it to him coming up in Tag Heuer Warranty Checker as part of what I believe/d evidenced it’s authenticity. However he noticed that the small chrono hands on my watch are a kind of silver, grey even show up black in some photos and occasionally white depending upon lighting but they are in fact a silvery in the middle with a white edges on both sides of each hand and appear black or grey in photos. He also noticed that the stock photo on the Warranty checker and in fact got all high street Tag AD jewellers I.e. Goldsmiths etc all show the same stock photo which clearly shows the watch to have pure white chrono hands. I have looked on EBay and Chrono24 and many others since and literally at least 70% of the watches shown have the same as mine with small chrono hands that are grey or black in photos so this gives me hope that the watch is fine but around 30% have white hands. So do they come in more than one colour or something? I sure hope so guys…… Can you please enlighten me as in spite of my own lack of knowledge I thought I’d done enough homework to ensure I purchased well but the guy who was interested claimed it to be fake which mortified me because I’d never buy let alone sell a fake! At least not knowingly! Im literally scared to hear the answer id be so upset if its fake but I have to know I can’t continue wearing it whilst not even knowing if its real anymore. Please advise and thank you in advance for your time and for any insights you might be able to offer. Thank you View attachment 1782212 , John Morgan

Hi everyone. I am looking at a Tag Heuer Carrera the seller received as a gift. He was told by a jewelry store that it is real but they did not open it up to confirm the serial number on the movement. He does not have the box or any paperwork. Pics below. Thoughts? Thank you.
Horrible, the pushers look like they are about to self-eject.

I'm not an expert with this particular Formula 1 chronograph, but the numbering on the bezel looks off. Take a careful look at the numbers - they look too thick. For example, if you look at the number "4", the space inside the 4 looks too small compared to the one on the TAG Heuer website:

https://www.tagheuer.com/ca/en/time...la-1/43-mm-quartz-chrono/CAZ101AN.FT8055.html

The only reason I picked up on this is because I own a CAZ1110 and am very familiar with what the bezel numbers look like. I hope I'm wrong. One thing I can tell you is you did everything you could from a non-TAG Heuer enthusiast point of view. The reason I say "non-enthusiast" is because real TAG Heuer nerds know that confirming serial numbers off of warranty sites means virtually nothing in terms of whether a TAG Heuer watch is real. This is particularly true for modern Formula 1 and Aquaracer watches.

I'd be curious what some other opinions from some much more knowledgeable members on this forum

Cheers

Thank you so much for you input as I wasn’t even sure if anyone could see the message I think I’ve entered it in a really inappropriate manner but I didn’t know how else I apologise to the person whose thread it is if I am in the wto g place. Hope the number 4 alert which I can see what you mean I’m hoping it’s a photo error I will be taking it to an AD as soon as I am back home but right now I’m away for a week and it’s obviously getting g to me I’m worried. I so hope it’s not a fake…. But I’m less hopefully than I was will be waiting anxiously for more views… thank you for you’d my friend. John

They may be able to tell you it's fake in store if it's bad and they have a genuine one to compare it with. But they wont be able to confirm it is genuine without sending it to HQ.

Yeah sales people in a store are trained to sell you new shit, not authenticate watches

This is it - if I can tell it's fake, it's a definite answer. Certain watches (like, say, a Link Calibre 36 or Monaco Twenty Four) you can authenticate, as the fakes just don't come close. But if it's a modern Aquaracer or F1, there's always going to be doubt about authenticity unless it's sent to TAG (and even then...)

I purchased an Aquaracer through work a few years back as a gift for my brother (WAK2180) and I was very confident in it being authentic, but there's still that tiny tiny doubt in the back of my head.

Wow, nice gift. I nearly bought one of those from Bicester years ago.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I regret giving it to him a tiny bit, it's such a nice watch.

Fake ones are like soft rubber, right, whereas the real ones are hard rubber?
Pretty sure the genuine ones feel more like liquid sandpaper with a smell of Nike sneakers.
