well so far so good. I have not seen any fake use the correct pin and tubes. Can you share which seller you got the watch from? Don't know how much of this thread you have read, but ebay authentictors are useless.
I have not . Came over from Reddit , every on r/tag Heuer said the watch checked out . I bought from WatchMaxx who sent to an eBay Authentication . Watch came with Box and hang tag but no card

Eh, lol. I'll give you some pics of the fakes we've caught on here, and you can post it on there and ask them and I'd bet they'd say it's fine.

but watchmaxx is a good company. That's actually where I got the watch I was using as the example a couple pages back. And they won't give you a card, because they are a grey market seller, which means the warranty is through them and not tag heuer.

So you think it’s legitimate?

cosc 5 it is same like caliber5 (sw200-1)?

Please make sure to take photos when it is open, we would love to see. Sometimes the fakes have a genuine SW200-1 inside, or a well made clone movement that looks exactly like the real deal. Will be interesting to hear if the watchmaker opens it up, sees a sw200-1 and tells you your fake watch is legit.

Hey again, I actually opened the watch up myself today because I was too curious to see what’s inside. It’s an SW200-1 movement with the “Tag Heuer Calibre 5 Swiss made” text on the rotor. Can’t believe the extent these guys are going to, they even made the correct looking movement spacer

Please excuse me, but is there a reason why we are getting Ukrainian text in this thread?

Don't forget to give us pics! But ugh, yeah. They want it to look as real as possible, to anyone that just happens to open up the back case.

This whole place is hacked and every second you spend here, a continuous stream of malware works its way through your entire device and local network.

Or maybe some members use some browser extension that automatically translates text which means that when they quote us, what we see is their local language.

I have no idea but these are the only logical reasons I can think of.

Hi Everyone. I’m new the the forum. I recently bought this WAY101e. Is it authentic? The serial number is recognised on TAGs website and shows as the correct watch. I’ve opened it up and it has a Ronda 6003D. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Thanks. That’s what I thought having looked at others online. Here’s some photos of the rest of the watch.

Agreed, watch posted by @Jay_83 is definitely fake
Thanks guys. It was the lume pop that was definitely looked off and set off my suspicions. Any other aspects that are glaringly obvious showing it’s fake?

Real logo looks better and the diver helmet is reversed in the grain application:

With so many requests asking what aspects suggest my watch may be fake, it makes me very dubious as to the reason behind the requests.

Can see a legitimate request to advance knowledge on avoiding a fake in future. Can also see the scenario where information is fed back to make these elements better on future fakes.

Fair enough. That’s a valid point. My questions were to avoid fakes in the future. I was suckered in by the fact that it showed up on Tags warranty check site. Thanks for the advice. Now to send it back!

Wasn’t aimed specifically at you. Just seems to be a pattern with new members of late.

I can totally see legitimate questions being asked in fairness. Stick around btw, as this is a great forum with great members. 😀

Yeah this is tricky. I like to think of it as being on a mission to make the world realise they should stop buying used watches, all used watches will be fake 😉
