Also, can't remember if I mentioned this. But movement aside, the simplest way to know for sure ( assuming the situation allows for it) is to swap crowns. for some weird reason, ALL the fakes have a tube that has a bigger OD than OEM. I have no idea why.

Not sure if I've helped or made things worse. The watch models aren't the same, but But the cases are. The movements should be the same, minus the date wheel. So the question is, are these watches supposed to have the black movement holder. It is much thicker and stronger. AND it has two screws holding it down. The problem is, tag heuer changes things sometimes just because. Maybe one year they wanted to do it cheaper. We really need more examples to work with.
also, don't remember if it was discussed, but please show us the pins and tubes. It's not 100% because you never know if someone changed the bracelet, but it sure as hell helps.

Also, my WAY1110 has the white plastic movement holder, BUT it has screws holding the GOLD movement down.

Anyone else have access to any of these watches, that also can open the case? I'm starting to get a little disconcerted now.

It seems to me that in 2015, the QR code printed on the card was not yet used

Yes, I confirm that Tag Heuer introduced this warranty card system with online verification from around October 2015.

How do people not have the papers of a watch that can only be about 4 years old? I never understand this.

This thing. Ask him to provide photos clearly showing the lume pip in detail, from the front

you might also ask to see the pin and barrel that hold the links together. Often a good tell for fakes.

People just want a watch. Don't care about the box or papers and toss it. Or someone else tosses it. Or they move. Many ways.

Can you ask him for pics that are at least a little bigger than 640 x 570? Either he's lazy, or he's doing it on purpose. You ask him for better pictures, and he sends you worst pictures? They are literally half the size of the original pics.

Also ask him for pictures of the links and pins that are in that last picture.

Yeah, true. Once I was shown a huge box of spare links at TH Bicester Village which was all the links they had removed from watches that people didn't want. Would have been thousands of pounds worth in the box. Crazy.

Other picture anks you
Eeehm who is the seller? No way photo 1 and 2 are of the same watch as photo nr 4? Look at the lume pip and compare. In the fourth photo the lume pip has a distinct gap/circle around it, not the case in photo 1 and 2

I was thinking the same thing. The watch in the 4th photo looks different than the other photos - particularly with the lume pip. Something is amiss?

Bottom line - there are so many fake Aquaracers out there, I wouldn't bother getting one unless it was from an AD. To be honest, the provenance of the watch becomes very important instead of trying to look at questionable quality photos. Remember the golden rule. Buy the seller!

I sound like a broken record...LOL.
