Means nothing whatsoever. You only need one correct serial number to produce a million clones that will all check out on the warranty check.

Yes seems so
How do I go about sending it to tag ?

I think you can either email them and request a return or take it to a TAG Heuer boutique or AD.

He messaging me saying that the watch is 10000% authentic , that he has had people discuss him in forums because you are his competition , he has told me that one guy was bashed in this forum for selling fake watches and turned out his watches were all actually real and genuine ..dealers are told to deny authentic if not purchased from AD…. Said he has sold a few fakes years back when he first started and dident know what to look for … he’s dead set on this watch being 100000% genuine
So confused .. what turned out a genuine purchase for my birthday has now causing me stress stress stress

Of course he's going to claim it's authentic and try to discredit everyone else.

There's only one way to a stress-free purchase on F1s and Aquaracers these days, and that is to buy new from an AD.

How are we his competition? We are not selling watches.

He is probably referring to the red dial 1000s that appeared a few years ago. They dials were completely wrong (matt orange/red not red sunburst - quite a few of them were for sale on eBay all at once, which is super suspicious on it's own, especially as they also had blue ones and two tone ones - where did they all come from?) and yet TAG Heuer did confirm it was real.

We can only assume it was made of real parts and the dials were some dodgy replacement parts... but also, that watch was from the 80s, the current owners of TAG Heuer bought the company in 1999, I don't think they really know much about what went on before, but your watch is recent they will know about that one.

Do you believe him when he says I used to sell fakes but I don't now?

Think about it, if TAG Heuer do metallurgy tests to determine the authenticity how can one dodgy guy on YouTube do it just by taking the back off.
