I do believe though that it's the only 1000 series I've seen with the 1000 above the hands.

I will make that clear when I publish the list properly, I mean I am trying my best to get the right pictures for the right numbers but I wouldn't want people to think it is definitive by any means. I don't even know how you could do that, to make sure it was 100% correct... especially if you take into account TAG's somewhat less than 'absolute' clarity on things. I know I've said it before but they make an Aquaracer that comes in two completely different tones of blue with the same part number... what can you do with that?

How about this Tag Heuer Way2013.

Fake or genuine??

My first Tag watch and I got it online.... always skeptical given what I have read on the forums so far.

Looks the same to me mate.... what exactly is the difference?
Lume dot on the bezel is what usually gives the fakes away. I have not taken long time for a detailed look at other details but Im sure there are more giveaways as well

I was just going to write the same message.
How come the fakers can't get the lume dot right??
The little ring (or counter bore??) round the lume had the bells ringing so having a pic of a pukka AR was the clincher.
With hindsight a watch forum's sale area is a lot safer place to buy a watch than Ebay, as I know from bitter experience.

With a closer look at my watch, I can appreciate what is being said regarding the Lume dot.

will take it up with the seller and see what they have to say.

will let everyone know the outcome

Rule number one is to only buy Aquaracers from an authorized dealer. One of the models I would never ever buy from other channels or pre-owned due to the number of fakes and how sort of good the fakes have become.

Mine is an older model with the flat date window.
I bought it new in Manchester from the Tag Heuer boutique so I know its authenticity plus I took it back when i had winding problems.
Other than the lume pip I'd never be able to spot a fake.

Tag Heuer Service centre in my country authenticated my Aquaracer GMT as authentic, I have paid 2000SGD (1380USD) to a grey market dealer claiming its "authentic", guys do have a look at the pictures and let me know your input, after spending hours digging in this forum I could sense that it is fake 🙁

to add, I believe the same seller had sold Aquaracer variants to a handful of locals here and the police could not do anything unless TH could back us with hard evidence it is a REP 🙁
