So have all the LINKS and FORMULAs disappeared? Haven’t seen any come up. Actually. I never did figure out if the F1’s were real or what was wrong with them, if they were fake. Haven’t really seen any recent New aquas and New F1’s either. Guy still has a couple up, and there are about 3-4 big sellers that still have them for sale.

So I sent a really long email to TAG about the red 1000 Series watches and all the rest of it and they sent me a standard email back offering to authenticate my watch. They clearly haven't read the email I sent to them, or if they have they aren't engaging with it. I sent another email prompting the answer that if Jonny wants to talk to them about his watch then he needs to contact them himself. Over to you Jonny, I will PM you my email.

Someone needs to send one of these watches to tag US. Or send me one lol.

I can’t seem to find one to buy now!

Who did you send the email to ?
If it was the customer service department in Manchester then you may need to find an email address for tag heuer themselves.

I'll phone customer services and see what they say.
Last communication from them was that they wouldn't talk to me via email, and that I should phone them.

I'll keep you posted.

What’s the odds of whomever you get on the phone telling you communication should be done via email.::facepalm1::

What are the odds of tag Heuer admitting they were wrong and allowed a counterfeit watch to leave their facility?

The email was sent to customer service and forwarded to customer relations at TAG Heuer.
They won't talk to me about your watch, which may be GPDR related.
Latest is that you should send it back again and ask for a senior watchmaker to look at it this time...
But if you do and you get a different answer, well... that's not very reassuring is it?

Oh, and also I did get confirmed that all those sellers / watches I wrote about in the email (tradevint / fastbeat / watchcompany / casual wear) were all known to the TH Sales Operations Manager.

I sent them an email with the links to those sellers. I’m curious if they knew about them before that. Either way, I’m impressed they even kept track of it. Ebay still hasn’t sent notices to the buyers tho. I haven’t pushed it too hard. I’ve mentioned it a few times.

UPDATE;
spoke to same person at customer services.
'Your watch is on its way back and is authentic etc etc

I told her my/our concerns and she put me on hold to talk to the assistant manager of authentication.
Turns out it was the same assistant manager who examined my watch.
I couldn't talk to her as she was' just leaving', but the customer services assistant says she assures me its genuine.
They deal with and authenticate hundreds of watches a week.

So the watch is going to be returned to them when I receive it tomorrow.

And if I can provide the evidence and information as to why I think the watch is fake.

Lazy bastards didn’t care about the underside of the links. These are supposed to be polished under. Not to mention, they used split pins instead of tube and pin. Ronda movement. But it says Swiss parts rather than Swiss made. Which I believe is the MUCH cheaper version. And of course, the stop watch hand isn’t even zeroed lol
And the tube is a little too thick. So you can’t use any normal crowns on it. But you can use its crown on normal tags. An AD, would say it’s real. Any watch maker would say it’s real. Any layman would say it’s real.

I hope not. I would have called a probable fake on this one from those photos alone.

I mean, the other ones are a bit better than that. But unless they handle this same model regularly, why? Think about how many of these have been sold, and up until I got these sellers kicked off, they've been selling these for MONTHS with only the occasional complaint.

So just got a call from ebay. Because of this Ahole seller, that bought something from me, and I had reported him, they turned it around on me and said I'M the issue. And if I make another claim of counterfeit watches, my accounts will be shut down. She didn't seem to give a rats ass that the returns were all open, AFTER the seller was suspended for selling counterfeit watches. No no, I'M the problem here.

Now I'm freaken gun shy. I'm 99.9% sure he is selling fakes from the same manufacturer as the other guys. I have something on order from him, but haven't sent his info to my guy yet.

By the way, I received a response from my guy.

Hey James,

I just went over and spoke with the team who had contacted you and explained the situation. Continue your normal business. My only request is let’s just not do the test buys anymore. If you buy an item in your normal flow and it’s counterfeit, do what needs to be done. When you find items you are concerned with, forward those to me and I will do my thing.

I like how you’re wearing it lol. Did you ever hear back from the seller? A full refund and letting you keep the watch, doesn’t exactly scream “innocent” to me. But hey. What do I know?
