Is my TAG Heuer Authentic? All questions here please

I've read an article in swiss media, which mentioned the following facts:
- The swiss federation horlogere (FH) has estimated, that the financial damage caused by fakes to the swiss watch Industry in 2018 is about 800'000'000 CHF.
- The FH has constantly upped it's Manpower in the fight against fakes, today there are 16 people working in this department.
- 14 years ago they initiated the takedown of some hundred fake watches from online-shops. In 2018 it were 1'200'000 fake proposals.

I think the above work of the forum members who provide lists of the most faked watch references is very important work. Would be nice, if somebody put this into an searchable database. 📖

Even with the superfakes, experience and a loupe should be able to differentiate. But it's certainly getting harder all the time. Some watch dealers could certainy be taken in. Even more reason, if you're buying used, to look for evidence of provenance of the watch you're buying (such as sales receipts, stamped warranty cards, genuine boxes, even a story that checks out and doesn't raise alarm). You won't eliminate all of the risk, but you can certainly minimise it.

It doesnt seem to be quite the same. The case-back isnt as highly polished and the reference is stamped. But end links look like Rolex style alright, and it looks like a matt finish dial. But could that be lighting/camera angle?

I don't think the real dial would look like that under any lighting to be honest. It's more of a metallic sunburst and darker in tone.
