Nope, doesn't look quite right to me. But the watch itself looks genuine.

Hey everyone,

I bought this Tag Heuer 1000 Professional ref 980.113 today.

It looks legit, although it doesn't say "1000" on the dial.

Can anyone confirm if it is legit? And is it a 1000 series?

Looks fine to me, I had wee comparison against mine, box etc looks good.

Hi, hope someone can help, I bought this on eBay and it was delivered yesterday. The model number on the casing has CAR2A11 however I believe that model is only sold with an anthracite dial. I spoke with Tag but they said the only way they could tell me is if I post the watch in to them.

Thanks for the reply. I thought this also. In two minds if I should return it or not. Every picture I have seen of the CAR2A11 has the grey dial, not black.

Perhaps the back case has been swapped, as the strap is also not original.
I also have an issue with the black lining of the crown, but it could be just from the photo.

The black dial reference is CAR2A10. I would return it since it is obviously not an original and seems to be more of a franken watch.

Hi Alex, looks fine to me too-nice set! I assume is says 980.113B or 980.113N on the caseback? They didn't all have '1000' on the dial but it is still a 1000 model diver. Enjoy!

It looks too good to be fake, but there's definitely something not right somewhere, and elbeik's probably right as it can't be that code and that dial.
