Is my TAG Heuer Authentic? All questions here please

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum. I couldn’t find anything about this watch. It has been gifted by a business man to my father

I assume it is a replica but I just wanted to be sure since i don’t know anything about these watches.

Oh also if it is a replica which model is it replicated from? If not, what would be the cost of it?

I can't see a model number on the case back and the "XXXXP013" looks odd. I don't recognise the engraving and to my knowledge there are no Chronometers that look like this. I'm calling fake/replica which you already assumed. It doesn't look to me like it is a direct copy of any particular model.

Still looks odd.

Also there is a Tag Heuer shield on the dial and only Heuer on the case back. Another sign of a fake.

Judging by the quality of most fakes I doubt they'd even bother. The latest fakes are surely being made by actual watch companies. Those Pagani 'Aquaracers' are just crying out for a TAG logo on the dial... it may not be illegal to manufacture a 'homage' like that but it's a gift to fakers who probably buy in bulk and doctor the dial.

As already said that’s faker than a fake thing. Anything which says XXXX as the model or serial number then you have to doubt its authenticity.

Found this one for sale claiming he went swimming with it and it no longer works. Basically looking to give it away (red flag). Looking at it, I believe it to be a fake just by the dial... I think anyways. Asked him to send photos of the case back and also opened up if he could. (he is about 90 miles away from me). What is everyone else thoughts on it?

Looks dodgy to me. Blurry photos are always a red flag themselves. As you say, this one appears not to have a chronograph but the subdials tell the day (1-7) and month (1-12 in reverse!). Side pushers and caseback also look suspicious. Plus the price is another giveaway.
