You were right. Ebay didn't take it down and it sold for £820. All that money wasted on a piece of rubbish. Just amazing.

Hah, sorry about that. From the seller. They seem like stock photos. Only thing that's keeping me interested is that he's rated 100 percent on ebay after over 2400 reviews (I know, I know, ebay).

Firstly, may I say how amazing this place is? Thank you for being on the internet! I love the positive vibe here.

I've just bought myself a 2004 Multigraph WK111A (2000 Series) off eBay. I really thought I got a great deal as when I looked, everything pointed out that it is authentic, and the seller is legitimate. I got it for $400 in the bid and the seller had a buy it now price of $850. I showed it to my Mrs, and she pointed something that shook me a little and now I'm doubting if it's real or not. It doesn't help that I was the only bidder.

On the 2004 catalogue, there's no "Swiss Made" at the bottom, whereas, the one I've gotten does. However, I've seen a few with and without on the same model, despite the catalogue not having the "Swiss Made". Hopefully I've done it right.

The lister bought it in 2012 from a thrift shop in Switzerland if that helps.

This guy on Reddit has one that looks just like the one I've bought and had it "serviced at La Chaux-de-Fonds HQ" and Tag Heuer obviously did not flag it as a fake. (https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/4get61/tag_heuer_daily_beater_my_tag_heuer_2000/) about half way down the conversation.

I very much doubt it's a fake. I've been looking at these on eBay and I think you got a very good price. Hubert had one of these so he may be able to give a more definite answer, but personally I think it looks okay.
