What really gave it away was the back plate! And the fact that it's not a Monaco, obviously!

After seeing johnnykarate’s watch on another forum, I started to question the authenticity of my aquaracer. This is the WAY2013-0. Tell me what you guys think. I’m taking it to an AD this weekend to be sure. What stood out to me was the textured dial and the hour and minute hands.
Looks ok to me, but who knows these days.

Do you notice that the hour and minute hands are different? Why would Tag use different hour markers for the same mode watch?

Do you mean hands or markers? I might be missing something but they look correct.

Reported, many watchers waiting to bid.
I reported too, plus shot the seller a quick message. His claim of "cannot verify if this is original Tag Heuer as I do not have papers" is simply code for "I know it's fake but am trying to get away with fraud".

The hands. Notice the lines on the hands where the arrows are pointing to on the watch from the calibre11 review? My watch doesn’t have those. I also have a genuine WAY201A. There is no texture to the dial at all, but on the white dial there is. I’m questioning the movement now as well... from the pics online, it seems like aquaracers don’t have the swirl decorations on the movement.

Hopefully someone will respond that has the white model so they can compare.

Might be the reviewed watch was a prototype or used prototype pictures. Best compare with a verified watch. Try running the serial number on the Tag Heuer site.

I did that and it doesn’t show up. The guy I bought it from had it advertised as an AD purchased watch and provided a “receipt”. According to the date purchased, it should have had almost the full warranty left. I asked him about it and he just said “I don’t know, that’s just how the watch came in.” I just assumed it was a grey market purchase and he just said it was AD purchased to sell it quicker, so I let it go.

Do grey market watch serial numbers show up on the site?

I think it depends on if the grey market dealer gets the warranty activated via an AD. Some AD's sell off stock to grey market dealers hence the grey market dealer can sell it with real warranty

Yours does show up on this site. Mine didn't. Although i would assume the people making these fakes would sometimes use real serial numbers.

Where is the serial check? On this page TH say they cannot verify from serial and model no https://faq.tagheuer.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/How-do-I-make-sure-my-TAG-Heuer-watch-is-genuine

I just tried mine on trusted and it didn't come up, I'm fairly sure it's genuine because TH replaced the movement under warranty in April
