They do

The fake screws exist? Are you sure? I thought someone posted a drawing which showed the screws?

There’s a haters thread all about it on WUS; someone with a fake screw walking errands on the dial gave the opportunity for bashing and trashing.

Hey,

Any help with this would be very much appreciated. I can't find this in any of the catalogs (I'm trying to use the serial number as a reference).

Thanks!!

Yes I have seen it, and that's where I saw the tech drawing which showed the dial with fake screw heads was fake...

Thanks! I have just never seen the triangle hour indices before. 😀

The triangles mean it's a 2000 series diver, not the earlier 1000 series that had the 'dots' on the dial. The model you show is deemed to be the largest of that type (which is shown by the .006 of the model number)....although it's still tiny in comparison to the earlier 1000 divers. Either way, it looks OK and they're quite nice pieces actually, in my humble opinion. 😀

My brother passed away 15 years ago and he left this watch behind. Have no idea if real or fake and was hoping you could help. Also what the value if any. Thanks

Yeah I figured so. Can you share what gives it away for future reference. Thanks

The model number on the case back refers to a different Tag Heuer model for starters. Ideally you'd post an in focus shot of the dial but from what I can see there are problems there too.
