Arrive just now.
Any thought?
Is it true they use ETA F06.111 3 jewels?
Ahaha...
All good, late 2000's Classic and the Aquaracer did have this ETA movement.

Hahaha, there it is again with those stupid tiny dial hands, reported!

To be fair, the seller is advertising it as a reproduction so reporting it is a tad overkill.

LOL. Love the crappy image of an MP4-12C on the back of one of them!

Admitting it's fake doesn't make it okay, does it?

I am skeptical about this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAG-Heuer-Mens-CV2A1T-RHV1446-Carrera-Automatic-Chronograph-RARE-AMBASSADOR/182809142879?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Terrible photos, makes the bezel and hour markings font veer into replica territory.
Back case doesn't clearly show the internals.

Anyone heard of this ambassador edition? Not saying it's a fake, but mysterious.

If it is real it's HORRIBLE!

I suppose there are two issues:

1. Sellers who sell fake watches as genuine - this bothers me.
2. Sellers who sell fake watches as replicas/fake - I agree this is an industry problem, but I don't lose any sleep over it.

Nobody wants to see anyone fleeced granted, but more than that - it doesn't do a brand's reputation any good when people hold up fakes as representative. For example that thread on watchuseek where someone takes TAG to task because the 'screw heads' on a 'fake' Grand Carrera were actually ornamental.

Besides which, eBay terms prohibit the sale of fake goods. Like everything the internet has made the sale of fake goods a lot easier to get away with, I actually think as they provide the platform (and make huge profit from it) they should be a lot more pro-active about monitoring it. It's a bit like Facebook providing the platform and then saying 'not our problem' when someone uses it for nefarious ends.

The internet in general has opened a huge can of worms that at some point in the future the world is going to need to address, either by restricting it's use (not going to happen) or by massive levels of surveillance.
