Thanks, do you mind me asking how you can tell. I was told it was from an authorised dealer. This is also attached to watch
Yes, I saw that in the previous low-res pictures. Do you have the watch?

Ask them to take a pin out of the bracelet - if it looks like this:

With a single notch in the middle of both, it's fake.

If it has a single notch, offset from the center, on the pin and two notches on the collar - it's probably real. I'd still suggest posting better quality pictures for verification.

I just got mine for a wedding gift from a family, wonder if it's fake or not... (I bet it is)

You win… it’s absolutely fake. Not even a replica of an exisiting TAG Heuer model but an invented one

I wonder for how long this bracelet pin thing will last as an "authenticity check"... very simple for chinese people to read forum threads like this to learn how to improve their counterfit operations and selling tons of improved fake TAG Heuer watches with the 'correct' pins to ebay resellers

Clearly too much whisky last night, as the comment about pin & collar was meant to be a response to the Aquaracer. CAZ101K with the BA0842 bracelet uses split pins, not pin & collar.

Still not convinced the one you posted is genuine - that bezel isn't right.

Not sure they'll bother, honestly - most of their sales go unquestioned.

The serial number on warranty card matched the watch and had a receipt from jewellers and was able to register the warranty on TAG website as well as the other checks here . Photos were poor ..

Again, since it's not mentioned often enough: fakes use the genuine serial that matches the model and warranty card. You can register fakes on the TAG Heuer website just like the genuine watch that shares the serial number.

Would you PM me a picture of the other side of that hang tag/label sheet?

Will do once home. I also rang the jeweller and they had same serial number on file and that matched the invoice. Hopefully all is good 🤣

It's looking good - even the pessimist in me has to admit that making a copy of the invoice is unlikely 😀

I bought a Tag Heuer Formula Red bull edition online. I was able to register the watch on Tag's website with the serial number and warranty card. Given so many posts about the fakes, I want to o make sure the one I have is real and not a fake. Please comment
Not sure what happened to pics in original post. Posting again
