Real or fake?

Hi can anyone tell ne if this is a genuine serial for tag heur carrera Calibre 5 ty

Good evening, new forum member. This thread has been helful prior to me becoming a mem er, I'm a victim of a Tag F1 I'm afraid. All looked good.
Purchased on Ebay, all looked good, even had the back off, gold Ronda 5040.D, good all round etc. I purchased an eye loupe and found a tiny alignment issue with an hour marker on the face which then started the ball rolling on the fake route again. I have found tonight another seller with the same serial and warranty No's. Beware as you all know. Thanks for the help.

New TAG Heuer Formula 1 delivery packaging to AD

Good afternoon. In the UK when an AD receives a new Formula 1 watch into stock, does it have a clear wrap around the head and a fine clear film over the bracelet as delivery protection?
Think this is a give away of clone watches on Ebay if this is the case.
I have a recent clone and it even has the Ronda 5040.d inside, looks identical apart from I found another for sale at the weekend on Ebay sharing the same serial.
See what you're experienced eyes think of this watch, I'd very much appreciate views on it's credibility.
I have gone over it with a loupe, all very nice except possible mis alignment of the 7th hour marker.

Hi, can anyone please help me confirm if this watch is fake. the writing on the back says "swiss smadeince" which is a obvious spelling error or some weird real thing?

It's fake. The misspelled words on the fake stuck-on plastic-looking rotor are fairly obvious.

Don't know how anyone could look at it and think "yeah, that might be real".

I'm not sure what you mean by "conclusive proof". We can't provide you a notorised legal document if that's what you're after. The watch you shared is just wrong. The poor execution aside, the spelling mistake should be enough to understand that.

Just look at the execution, one is fine Swiss engineering, the other looks like a dog's breakfast.

Sticker tag look like the fake ones. Roughness on inside black parts of bracelet looks too rough. Plastic is to my knowledge as the fakes. TH do not use the plastic wrap on the watch head.
To be sure take out a link and post a pic of the pin and barrel. That bracelet is using that i think. Then it is easy to confirm.
Shared serial is a major red flag ....

Thank you for the reply, I've popped out a std pin. I did read a post about F1 quartz using these pins and the auto's a double indent pin. Here you go anyway, much appreciated feedback.

That one's genuine. Never seen a fake of this model.
